Delightful dishes served in a cozy little spot in Langley. Polenta smothered in smokey gravy and salty greens. Fried chicken with sweet and sticky waffles. Flaky biscuits you can dress with apple butter, jam or regular butter.

Don’t get the high rating at all. Quite underwhelming!
Fried chicken was way too salty and over fried.
Few of the roasted potatoes were undercooked.
Portion size is big so make sure you have a big appetite or you’re better off sharing.
Tried my best to finish it up because didn’t wanna waste the food but couldn’t due to the aforementioned reasons.

Wait time in the queue was an hour and a half since it was a Saturday

As the saying goes, if 99% of the people inside are white, stick with the burger and you’ll be fine. And this time, I was more than fine.

The pulled pork sandwich blew me away: tender, juicy, and packed with barbecue flavor in every bite. I walked in expecting a bland, overpriced salt and pepper European American flavor burger, but this was a true flavor bomb.

The bun was perfect, crispy outside, light and fluffy without the greasy texture like those from Shake Shack.

Friendly staff, too.

But, the table was VERY sticky, so sticky it stuck harder than an ex that texts “hey” at midnight on a thanksgiving day.

I wanted to give a not so quiet shout out to Shelby. The atmosphere here can be pretty busy and when I came in the restaurant was pretty full. It did slow down.

Shelby was always smiling, always sweet and customer service was amazing. Some individuals just radiate kind energy and Shelby thank you for being one those! Your smile to every person that walked through and your postive attitude was wonderful!

Thank you.

This place is incredible. I had the polenta and it was incredible. Friends had fried chicken and we agreed it was the best fried chicken we’d ever have. Other friend said was the best huevos rancheros she’d ever had. So good. Great cozy vibe too.

I came with my family for a late lunch on a Sunday. Our server was the best! She was so pleasant and helpful. They don’t have a whole lot of vegetarian food, but I was able to leave the meat off of an omelet that I wanted. Their food is fantastic. The home fries are full of flavor. My nephew really enjoyed the pancakes and bacon. The local beer is interesting and tasty. My only complaint would be the noise level in the place. Its extremely hard to hear if it’s full. But we would definitely go back. Fun little place!

From the moment we arrived, the dining experience was exceptional. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We decided to try the specials, the Pulled Pork Sammi and Pork Belly Hash along with clam chowder, and they did not disappoint! All the dishes were so delicious and served in generous portions. If you’re in the area, this place is definitely a must see! Our server, Noah, was an absolute gem, attentive and friendly, he made our meal even more enjoyable.

What a fantastic little surprise this place was!

Got a recommendation from a customer of mine over in Shoreline. Took a day trip to Whidbey. And we just so happened to stumble across it while walking around Langley.

Lemme just say: the fried chicken I had on the biscuits and gravy meal (the nasty) was from a completely different dimension entirely. Seasoned exceptionally, cooked to a perfect crisp, and incredibly juicy; it’s some of the best I’ve ever had.

The staff was kind and quick. The service was outstanding, not once did I feel like my needs weren’t met. And the outdoor seating was perfect for a sunny day!

It really made the day special. Check it out if you’re in the area!

The top choice for daytime eating in Whidbey’s southern end. The Braeburn in Langley is bright, clean, and welcoming, with a well-lit bar near the kitchen and the feel of a classic seaside town spot that could just as easily sit in Capitol Hill, Berkeley, NoHo, or Cape Cod. The food is fresh and well done across the board—you can’t go wrong—but the meatloaf sandwich and the waffles stand out. It’s comfort food done right, the menu is tight without being fussy, and the service is crisp and attentive, making it a favorite for both locals and visitors from all walks. Outside Langley, still on Whidbey, the strongest rivals for sandwiches are Greenbank Pantry and Pickles, but only The Braeburn has a bright vibe suited for lingering.
