Sakana is the best! Very unassuming from the outside, but it is literally some of the best Japanese food I’ve had in Colorado, and the curry rivals some of our favorites from Japan! They always have great specials and the sparkling peach sake drink and plum wine are favorites. The fish is always fresh and my husband always comments on how great the rice is. Def a must try!!

This is my local sushi restaurant and I love it! The food is consistently good, the sake list is great, prices are fair, and the service is always wonderful. Friendly staff. Clean place. Ramen was flavorful, yet required additional cost to add veggies to make it filling. Beef Curry Rice also only had 2 or 3 small meat cubes and the rest was gravy and rice, which did taste good. Overall, a bit pricey for what we got and we all left somewhat unsatisfied.

My family and I have gone to Sakana’s on numerous occasions and each time we go we are extremely satisfied. The dishes are fresh and carefully prepared by the chefs and presented with pride. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful and we are always treated warmly and with the utmost respect by all the staff. Reminds me my time in Japan where the services are top notch. Food was good, service was awful… Went in for the last hour of happy hour waited 40 minutes to be told that they didn’t put in my order. Had to wait long time for everything even for a side of hot sauce was 17 minutes that was charged for 8 dollars and I ordered chili oil. You guys gottu be kidding me and still charged me regular price for the sushi.
