I don’t eat beans, but these beans make me want to come back just for those! We almost filled up on Salsa as we waited for our food…really good! If you’re not ready for spice

I went here today which I normally come here at least once a week I always get the same thing and it’s always excellent except for today the fajitas were old and dried out the onions and peppers were burnt on the bottom usually when I get them they are sizzling hot nope not today it looked like it was some one else’s plate reheated ten times over and then reserved again. The waiter was excellent bless his heart he felt so bad but it was not his fault at all. Very disappointing

Delicious…and a great experience! My friend and I started with drinks, a margarita on the rocks and a blue Hawaiian. They were made really well, though a tiny bit strong(but I’m not a real drinker). We ordered queso Blanco and added some of their homemade salsa rojo and it was delish!!! For the finale, I ordered the brisket tacos and she got the barbacoa street tacos. She loved her and my brisket was soooooo good!! Seasoned and tender, not too much fat and just scrumptious!!
The service was fantastic. Paola was amazing, kind, attentive and very professional. She didn’t miss a beat! We haven’t been since the management and we’re so glad we came.

So, my partner and I stopped by Tio Carlos Mex-Latin in Irving, TX around 2:00 PM, and our experience certainly was not the 4.0 stars that were advertised on Google.
While the chips, salsa and black bean dip were on point, that’s where the experience halted to a 1 star!
The Pollo Asada à la Crema and a Fajitas were sub par and very bland. The beans and rice were ok, but the chicken was wildly overcooked and dry. With that, we asked for an extra side of sauce in hopes of repairing the dry bird.
As for the fajitas, not only was there no sizzle, as is advertised in their online video, it was lukewarm!!
“Meh” is the best rating I can offer your RICOS flavorless queso?
The server ran her behind off trying to serve the only five tables in the building that had diners.
However, she was blithely unaware that we didn’t even eat 1/4 of the plates of food and the queso went untouched.
The busser cleared our inedible plates, with no comments and the server dropped our check. Not only had they not asked if we liked it or if there was a problem, they made NO effort to remedy.
To add injury to insult they charged us $2.49 for the side of sauce to remedy thw dry chicken.
While I review food for a living, I tend to shy away from reviewing my own personal meals. God knows there are hundreds of tex mex places to spend our time abd money. But I had to warn people…THIS PLACE DOES NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR FOOD OR THEIR CUSTOMERS.
Management and owners simply dont care! Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Too expensive an experiment to risk getting the bad food and bad service!
If I could offer no Stars, that is what I would award.

I want to this location to support a friend of mine who was performing a nice and esthetic music performance. The service and atmosphere were great but I was not satisfied with the food. I ordered fajitas. The portion was SUPER SMALL for the $23. May buddy ordered the enchiladas and he ate only half of his meal and said he was not very satisfied either. My best experience would have been the music and drinks.

Delicious Tex Mex in Irving! This place is hidden and easy to miss but once I discovered it I had to go back again with the family. The food is fresh and flavourful, loved the salsa and black beans dip with chips that they bring ,I had the brisket tacos and they were so so good, they come with rice, beans and salad with avocados. I highly recommend this dish. My son had The Mexican Dinner dish and enjoyed it. Server was friendly and responsive!

A little disappointed. Ordered the enchiladas with fried egg. The egg was poached and all I could taste was vinegar which would be how u make poached eggs but they used way to much vinegar. My son said his dinner was so great he went back the next day. I will go back and try something else.

Only place to eat latin food! It’s SO GOOD! And not just your run of the mill texmex. We got the mango tilapia, Ropa Viejas, and some pupusas. All were FANTASTIC! Everything was just absolutely amazing. Great margaritas too! Okay back to eating! Had to stop and type this cause OMG!
