Taco Tuesday!!! They have a taco Tuesday here that includes steak tacos and birria tacos! Oh yea, hard and soft regular tacos as well but those aren’t as good as the steak and birria tacos. You have to stop in for the birria tacos. At least get 2 of these and one of the steak tacos. You will not be disappointed. The birria tacos are some of the best I have tried. I wasn’t disappointed and don’t think you will either. On Taco Tuesday they are only $3.50 each, well worth it. Give it a shot. Don’t forget to have a XX amber draft with it. My wife had the spinach and chicken enchiladas and loved hers as well. Almost forgot, our service was incredible. Way to go Gaspar!

I’ve now been here twice, and I’m confident in saying this place is SERIOUSLY underrated. The carne tacos are perfect! Salsa and chips are amazing. Street corn nachos were BOMB, and my daughter didn’t speak to me until her birria ramen was gone. The servers are extremely attentive, and food comes super fast! Definitely a favorite spot on Monroe st!!!

10/10! This place is great! The atmosphere is adorable. If we lived around here that would be dangerous because we would be regulars. That said we will definitely randomly be driving down here to visit because this place is just THAT good.
The food is fantastic. The chips come out hot and the salsa is so flavorful. You can really taste the garlic.
I had the enchiladas supreme and they were some of the best enchiladas I’ve ever had. The sauce they use is delicious.
My fiance had the molcajete and that was super good as well. All of the meat in it had a great char on it.
Everything we had was so flavorful.

Service was good but food was meh. I got the California burrito “special” but it didn’t taste like any other California burrito I’ve had before. Unseasoned beef and chicken, random cheese on top, wilted lettuce inside, and a tortilla that was basically disintegrating and mushy. I can get a better burrito in the frozen section of the grocery store.

I thought it was quite good, my husband not so much. I had the tropical fajitas, loved the grilled pineapple. I wish I had omitted the tomatoes. My husband had the pineapple fajitas, he said they were good, just hard to eat digging everything out of the pineapple. He wasn’t a fan of the regular salsa, so ordered salsa verde and hot sauce. He said the salsa verde was quite good. The chicken fingers we got for the baby were good and a nice sized portion. Service was excellent, drinks and chips were never empty. Clean bathrooms, plenty of parking.

Palacio Maya is hands down the BEST Mexican food in Toledo! The food is incredible, and the staff are even better. Huge shoutout to Nilda and Paulita for helping me organize a lunch for my coworkers — I definitely didn’t make it easy, but they were so patient and kind through all my changes. I really appreciate them!

I really don’t understand why Palacio Maya doesn’t seal their Camarones Gratinados properly. When I get my order, the sauce is already leaking and a lot of the food gets wasted in the bag. There isn’t much shrimp to begin with, so losing more because of bad packaging is annoying.
Still, the food tastes great, which is why I keep coming back. But with prices so high now, it’s hard to ignore food being wasted just because the containers weren’t closed well. The food is good, but the packaging and attention to detail need to be better.

First time visiting and enjoyed it. It took a minute or so before we were acknowledged and seated. We started outside on the patio until raindrops started falling. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas and sampler appetizer plate. Both were really good. After ordering our food, it didn’t take long before it arrived. The seafood chimichangas were good. My husband chicken Azteca with extra mushrooms. The food was very good. Our server was, Jorge. He was great. The restaurant was clean.
