Established in Geneva, May 2017, Livia Italian Eatery menu features Northern Italian cuisine. The Livia menu offers a broad palette of culinary delights from pastas, fresh greens, flatbreads and house specialty entrées like our crowd favorite, New Zealand lamb chops. Staying true to our farm-to-fork quality selections and vendors, this menu will require more handmade preparation that will be sure to wow even the most sophisticated foodie. Our beverage menu includes creative handcrafted cocktails, beers and regional Italian-inspired wines. Lavia Italian Eatery deserves at least 10 stars!!!
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Shane, was well acquainted with all the items on the menu as well as the specials.
I asked him to recommend a small plate item to start our meal.
His first choice was the Tuscan Shrimp and Eggplant. Enveloped in a spicy, creamy creole sauce I would describe it as just enough spice and a whole lot of ALRIGHT!!
I’ll be dreaming about this luscious dish for months!!!
The shrimp were huge, plentiful and tender.
My entree, the New Zealand lamb chops with a gorgonzola crust, accompanied by creamy, decadent mashed potatoes and beautifully grilled fresh vegetables was fantastic! The lamb was perfect, tender and mouth watering.
My husband chose the two filet medallions. They were cooked to a perfect medium rare. One filet is served with a topping of béarnaise sauce over a generous portion of crabmeat. The other medallion was topped with a gorgonzola demi.
These toppings can be changed or omitted per your palate.

We had an amazing experience the first time we went there. The food was excellent, and Blaine, our server, treated us like VIPs. His drink recommendations were spot on, and to top it off, his dessert suggestions were perfect too. He was very cordial, respectful, and attentive, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere and our meal—no rush at all, even though we arrived close to closing time.

Overall great experience. Our waitress was really sweet and attentive and the atmosphere was really cozy on the patio. To be honest we ordered french onion soup and you could tell the cheese on top was not melted through, but it was still really tasty. I had the pasta livia, it could have used a bit more salt. My partner had the chicken milanese and his was delicious. The chicken was moist with a beautiful crust 10/10 on his dish.

This is a great Italian restaurant right in the heart of 3rd Street. If you go on the weekends before 5:30, there is usually parking really close by, otherwise, you may need to drive around for a spot. They have a outdoor patio as well as a really nice atmosphere inside. Reservations strongly recommended as this place books up on weekends. We has a party of 7 for a celebration and our server Olivia was great. Service was quick and attentive. As for the food, while Italian focus, they go beyond. I had the Hoisin Chicken Salad bowl and not only was it delicious, it was enough to completely fill me up. The bruschetta by the way is to die for, and there’s not just one type, but an assortment. The pasta dishes are great too! Overall, great place for 2 or larger groups like ours.

I’d like to share feedback about our recent visit. 11/22/25 (Sat) After our bartender/server Lauren handed us the menus, she did not return to check on us for approximately 25 minutes. During that time, she passed by us multiple times without acknowledging us or taking our order, even the other bartender Nathan just busy fixing his hair, This made us feel neglected and ignored.
We expect staff to stay attentive and professional, and this behavior affected our dining experience, or maybe they’re just tipsy at work.
I hope this can be addressed so future customers receive better service.

Food was amazingly fresh and the order came out fast. We had a lasagna and a chicken milanese. I enjoyed the refreshing lemon sorbetto but the wine selection was not too exciting. Our waiter B (Blane?)was super knowledgeable and personable he made the experience fun and inviting.

Even when we have dinner reservations at other places, we come to Livia for dessert. Their desserts are top notch. All four desserts were fantastic, but the brownie and tiramisu were the favorites.
