Delicious sushi. We had the prawn and yam tempura with spicy agedashi tofu to start- it was heavenly. All of the raw sushi was amazing too. It’s a busy restaurant because it’s delicious, but the service was fast! I will be coming here again.

【Food】
They use a pink vinegar sushi rice on their sushi! We thought it would only came with the pink vinegar if you asked but we were wrong haha. It doesn’t taste different from the sushi rice, it’s only more healthy I guess! Never heard of such thing in Japan but…the nigiri tasted good, although we thought the rolls (the one with avocado) was a bit tasteless. Make sure you ask for hot tea to warm you up:)
【Service】
Both servers were very polite and kind. I felt bad they had some group on the big table coming in and out all the time. Saying they came just to see some friends and not even eat. Some people are just not educated enough. Still the serves handle the situation very well.
【Parking】
We had to do a little shopping on the mall. So we parked there and walked a little bit. But I believe they do have some street parking.

We had a wonderful time. Two adults and two children.
1 adult did a vegetarian roll.
1 child had a dynamite roll and 1 shared a salmon donburi with me.
Although there are many signs and explanations…it completely escaped me until the sushi came and my 5 year old girl gleefully clapped and whooped at the PINK rice!!
It was a lovely surprise! The food tasted great and there’s plenty of explanations regarding the pink rice on their website and signage.
We were happy to learn it’s cheery and healthy!
We will absolutely go back when we’re in the neighborhood.
My 9 year old commented about the sushi clock they had. Service was excellent.

Food is good & price is reasonable. Service needs to be improved as they’re understaffed. It’s really hard to get attention from the waitresses for ordering or the bill, no free tea or water for us either. I liked the chicken karagae which goes so well with the sauce (I guess it’s a mixture of condensed milk & lemon/lime juice). Sushi is okay, nothing special.

I recently dined at Sushi Well with my wife, and it was a fantastic experience! The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. What really stood out though, were the handmade sauces. The best sushi place in town! We started with gomaae, and the house-made sesame dressing was so incredible (everyone should try this as an appetizer!). We also had sushi – the house special roll, hot night tuna roll, and toro aburi nigiri. They were all fresh and flavourful, especially the healthy pink sushi rice, which made them even more special. Not to mention, the staff and owner were friendly, and the interior was clean, making the dining experience a pleasure. I would definitely return and highly recommend this place.

My family and I had a great experience in this restaurant. Japanese restaurants are usually expensive so considering their menus pricing, it’s worth it. The presentation of the food is good, and the signature pink rice is cute. The quality of the sushi matched the presentation, which made the meal overall satisfying to eat. We left feeling satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to others.

Meticulously prepared sushi dishes that are fresh and delicious. The service staff are very upbeat and always carry a smile. Their special pink sushi rice is terrific. Sushi Well has become our favourite sushi restaurant in the South Burnaby and New Westminster area.
