Those salads were delicious! As a Vegetarian walking in there on 11/18/25, I felt out of place. I got hit with the smell of meat, I didnt like it. But I tolerated that the best I could. I didnt think I was going to be able to eat here. But I was amazed. I ate the best salad I have ever eaten here. World class salad here! I highly recommend this place to everyone, including all my fellow vegetarians. Thank you for the inclusivity. It means alot. Thank you again!

My wife and I are both retired and we very much enjoy eating out with couples of our own age. Our number one choices of places to eat out is Swadleys. The atmosphere is comfortable and their staff are more than helpful. We all we always end up with food to take home so at least one meal ready to heat up in the air fryer the next day. We also appreciate the fact they are closed on Sundays so staff are able to worship on the Lord’s day.

Food was unfortunate.
Our server was great.
Good items- Lemonade, baked beans, gravy and roll.
Bad items- Chicken fried steak tasted like it was from frozen. The fries were cold/gritty and over seasoned. The catfish must of not have been cleaned thoroughly and had an off dirt flavor. The okra was completely burnt. The coleslaw was wilted and warm.
We could tell it was way past time to clean the fryers and start again with new oil. A few hours after our meal we still taste the old oil and burnt food.
This was disappointing as we have fond memories of a great place in Enid. I do hope this was a fluke day and it gets better with this feedback.
Have to remember it’s important to keep going to good restaurants in town because it helps them to circulate fresher food and keeps the staff trained and prepared for better service.
Servers were great today. The kitchen staff might be short handed and timing matters in food prep. Tough gig.

Nice people all over. Got my food pretty fast, (which is not normal) but I still got it. Waitress was kind and always kept an eye on me. Overall experience it was good.

Paid over $22 plus a $2 prep fee and tip for whats supposed to be over a pound of meat.The pulled pork and brisket were nothin but fat.

I agree with most of the reviews. I agree with the comments on the spooky hallway and now know how cattle feel. Today the ribs are tough. The loaded spud delicious. Waitress brings mini 1/2oz cups of sauce to the table. Cloth napkins. This is an experience destination for travelers. Not sure the locals would or could eat here often. Lots of signs telling you to tip the waitress. But you pay when you order. I expect the waitress gets stiffed more often than not unless you have the cash on you when you leave the table. Restrooms are very clean. Paper towels dispenser gives 3.5” of paper. Costs are really watched here.

I came in with Team Scream, the decorations were nice, the staff were amazing, and I had the Ultimate Burger I think is the name, but it was genuinely one of the best sandwiches I think I’ve had in my whole life! Thank you guys so much!

The food was exceptional. Although the chicken was slightly dry, all other aspects were truly outstanding. The wait staff demonstrated excellence, as did the lady handling our order at the counter. Notably, the price-point offered superior value, surpassing the quantity received at local establishments such as Head Country or Rib Crib in 74601

We were treating a friend to a birthday lunch. We decided to split a 2 meat plate. After paying 25.00 for a 2 meat I was shocked to get 4 small slices of chicken and 4 slices of brisket. The plate was practically empty! They also got hateful when we asked for extra sauce. They didn’t want to bring an extra plate for us to split our tiny lunch. The attitude made me think I was in a hundred dollar a plate bistro I France somewhere I asked the manager about it, she was all bad attitude. and I was told it was all done by weight. Really? To top it off it was all cold.
Ok so after not really answering me at all she asked if there was anything else we needed. I asked her for bread because we got 2 rolls for 3 people. She brought them without a hateful look and said nothing then walked away.
If you want to pay 25.00 for 4 ounces of meat this is you place. Once was enough for me. I’m sure there are better places in Enid.

All you can say is excellent food, excellent service and excellent atmosphere! Once you get past the spooky hallway in the front (you have to go to know) it opens up to a great big restaurant which a great staff who explained everything for us as it was our first time there. The food came quite quickly and was delicious, there was plenty and we definitely had to take home leftovers. I would highly recommend this place!
Update:
After coming here a few times I would have to say that this place is average for food and subpar for BBQ. The first time I went it was fairly good and as I described. I don’t know what they have done since then but every time I have been back the BBQ is dry, the other foods are either greasy or bland and I just can’t recommend this place anymore. They have really gone downhill.
