Located in downtown Georgetown, this Mexican eatery offers great food and tasty margaritas! This was the first time here and it didn’t disappoint. Ordered to go and everything was still hot thirty minutes later! The burritos and enchiladas are delicious! The portions are big enough for two meals. I will return and highly recommend! “Be a Beacon of light so others can find their way. Safe and happy travels!” Be’Be’

Nice Mexican style restaurant with fast friendly service and your entrees are usually out before you get too engaged with the chips & salsa!
My favorite is the Burrito Supreme without sour cream; which is one beef and one chicken burrito covered with cheese, lettuce, tomato and a side of rice. My comfort food!!!
Tried the Barbecue Sandwich for a change…it was good but still LOVE old faithful!

This was a second time visit. Both times were excellent. The food and the service were exemplary. Our waitress Julia was fantastic! Everyone was friendly. Even the bartender Karen stopped by to ask if we enjoyed the drinks… Excellent Margaritas from an excellent bartender! Enjoyed Quesadillas and Fajitas. Great evening.

This use to be a favorite of ours but twice now the food came out terribly cold and no flavor. We had four ppl at our table and we all ordered different meals and yet we all had cold flavorless food. P. S even our cheese dip was cold.

The woman working the bar was top tier. Excellent service. Great food. Great experience. Very friendly and made the experience memorable and anytime I’m back in town, I’ll be sure to stop by again!

I went here while out if town for work. I got the Enchilada Supreme. It was awful! My partner got the fajitas and took two bites. I didn’t think you could mess up mexican food but they need to make some adjustments to their menu. The service was mediocre. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Food was good. It was clean and well kept. Food prices were a bit high and the staff spent most of their time chatting with friends.

Ugh. Just ugh. I love Mexican food and this was awful. The cheese dip came out cold, like playdoh looking cold. The meals were lukewarm at best and the flavors were, well, missing. I would love to say they were busy or had a reason but it was empty (see the pic?) When we told the waitress she did nothing. I’m sorry to say but we won’t be back 🙁

We’ve driven past El Cerro Grande for years, and have always meant to stop in. I’m glad we did exactly that today!
Restaurant was very clean with cute decor. Our server, Abby, was prompt and really friendly. The salsa was delicious and blended to the perfect smooth consistency, with a nice touch of heat.
My wife and I each had a margarita. She enjoyed a Skinny Margarita, and I ordered a super tasty Patrón Margarita. Excellent choices!
We visited at lunchtime and were presented the full dinner menu, plus another with lunch specials. We ordered a lunch combo (taco & chile relleno) along with the enchiladas verde. Each were fresh and arrived quickly. All of the side items on each plate were very tasty, and not afterthoughts at all. My enchiladas verde (standard Tex-Mex order for me) was one of the best I’ve had! Lots of fresh onion and cilantro, and a very nice amount of heat in there – YUM!
This may have been our first visit, but it won’t be our last!
