Karin the Manager was AWESOME!! She was very nice to me while taking my order and made sure to arrange it the best way for me -moneywise. But more importantly she was very nice to her employees. Offering to help them and asking them if they need anything. She was ACTUALLY working. She said hi to everyone who came through the drive -thru line. Including the dogs. She repeatedly told me that I was not in the way and asked me if I needed anything. They were super fast at making our huge order. The restaurant was super bright and clean. The whole experience was just wonderful. WAY different and better than the Fremont store.

Eeeyuuuck!! I know its fast food but come on! People still spend their money here you can at least serve a decent meal. The red beans and rice was atrocious to say the least. Worst flavor and texture ever, and they were served cold/luke warm at best. It took me 2 mins to order, pull to the window, pay and get my food so my beans shouldnt of been that cold, or wet. I ended up throwing out the beans and rice after two bites. 2 pieces of the chicken (out of 5) were dumb dry and practically meatless. But what really irritated me was how fast the lady cut me off when ordering. Let a person get a full sentence out, you can not possibly be in that much of a rush to save 5 seconds. Her energy was very weird. No honey was given for the two biscuits and i had to go back and ask for hot sauce. I debated on a burger or popeyes and i wish i went somewhere else for a burger instead. I wont be back.

I am extremely disappointed with this Popeyes location. This was not a simple mistake—it was a series of problems that should never happen in one visit.
First, I had to get out of my car and go inside because my order was already incorrect. I did not receive my fries or my mac and cheese, and on top of that, I was given a small soda while being charged for a large. That alone shows a lack of attention to customer orders and basic accuracy.
After that issue was addressed, I had to go back inside again because my chicken sandwich was not cooked at all. Serving undercooked chicken is unacceptable and unsafe. This is not just about inconvenience—this is a serious food safety concern that could make someone sick.
Having to repeatedly go inside to correct multiple mistakes made the entire experience frustrating and exhausting. Customers should not have to keep returning to the counter to fix problems that should have been handled correctly the first time. The staff appeared disorganized, and there was no sense of urgency or accountability when these issues were brought up.
This experience shows poor quality control, poor customer service, and a lack of care for food safety standards. Fast food may not be perfect, but customers should at least receive what they paid for and food that is fully cooked and safe to eat.
I will not be returning to this location, and I would not recommend it to anyone. This Popeyes needs significant improvement in staff training, order accuracy, and food preparation before it can be considered reliable

Popeyes is the only fast food chicken restaurant that has no seasoning and NO FLAVOR in their chicken. It’s plain taste with no spices. No salt, no pepper. Nothing. Tastes like fried water. 2 stars because the staff is friendly.

Came through the drive through, and whoever was on the other end (a older woman) sounded like we had ruined her night. I understand not everyone is super cheerful to be at work, especially late at night, but is it wrong to ask for a little bit of friendly service? I’ve had a rough day and just wanted to get some quick food with my girlfriend and instead I’m met with a bad attitude and lack of patience. Looking at the other reviews, I should’ve known better and avoided this Popeyes. I will not be coming back to this location and I’d advise others to think twice before subjecting yourself to rude customer service for a quick mediocre meal. The food wasn’t much better, and I hope they can improve instead of taking this solely as negative feedback.

The employee taking my order was obviously new but he had NO business taking orders he was clueless. I asked for a side of Mac and cheese to which his reply was rambling off all the side choices. I also ordered a side of Cole slaw and mashed potatoes .what was in the bag was 2 Mac and cheeses and a coleslaw. He didn’t give me my second drink cup and when i told him he had no idea what to do. A couple ahead of me got about $100 worth of food and when the manager asked him why he wasn’t working on the order he told her he already gave it to them as they sat there waiting with no food. Way over priced too and for $17.50 it should come with a biscuit and when I asked the manager was rude. Im done with popeyes.i went to another location on Saturday and my food was cold.

Why do you need to ask for butter, honey or jelly when you get biscuits? The N.E. locatios on M.L.K. don’t operate like they used to (Thumbs down , tomatoes, boooo). Both of these locations need their old crews back because the drop on the chicken is definitely off, crust shouldn’t drop off the skin. The skin should be cooked….smh

This is the worst Popeyes in town. They always get orders wrong, but get snappy with you if you ask for them to confirm what you said if the screen isn’t correct. They also ALWAYS put your order in the bag so that it leaks all over everything. As you can see in the photo, there is zero sauce on the wings, because it’s all on the bag. What’s the point of choosing a sauce if you’re not going ro get any of it? If you’re really craving, go to the one on 122nd.

I’m leaving this rating thanks to a German person since the service was super terrible. I hope they call her out since I had a problem with the order and she never helped me or gave me any options to do so! The girl who was there was an incredible person, that’s how service should be! i’ve never felt the need to write a review for anywhere, but this was the most terrible experience i’ve had at any fast food place. so we had an order for pick-up, and when we turned the corner to pull up this older lady with gray hair was holding our bag of food out the window like we were gonna grab it as we drove by. then she very quickly went “have a good night” and closed the window on us, but she forgot our drink, and when we asked for it she gave us weird attitude and said “well i don’t know what you got”, made us give the receipt back and then blamed it on the other employees. to top it all off, she didn’t give us a straw!! worst experience ever.
EDIT: we just checked the bag and they also forgot our mac and cheese and sauces, and there was like 10 fries in the regular sized bag. i went into the app to try and get a refund and the automated system said that i will get a response from an agent in 24-48 hours. i am done with you popeyes!!!!!!!
EDIT 2: here’s the chicken tenders btw – seems like a lot more ‘tender’ than ‘chicken’
