Electric Karma is easily some of the best vegan Indian food you’ll find in West Hollywood. The flavors here are beyond sensational — rich, layered, and beautifully spiced without being overwhelming.
We started with the samosas and let me just say… they gave exactly what a samosa is supposed to give. Perfectly crisp on the outside, warm and comforting on the inside with potatoes, peas, and spices that felt balanced and intentional. So good.
The bhel puri was such a pleasant surprise — I had never tried it before. The combination of puffed rice, potatoes, onions, and chutneys created this light but flavorful texture moment that I absolutely loved. And if you love carbs like I do? You’re going to be happy here.
We also experienced the “Tree Hugger” (Karma for 2) platter and it’s honestly the perfect dinner to celebrate anything — date night, birthday, or just life. A beautiful spread of saag tofu, chana masala, vegetables, rice, and naan. Everything was fresh, vibrant, and deeply satisfying.
Beyond the food, the hospitality was warm and kind. The energy of the space feels vibrant and welcoming. Truly a special experience.

Loved our dinner here! We sat at the bar, on the side where we had a great view of the Indian music videos. We came on a Saturday night and there was no wait, but a steady stream of customers. We got the chicken nirvana curry (made with coconut milk) and the lam kebab. We added garlic naan and rice. It was delicious! My husband got a 22oz Taj Mahal beer which he liked! Good vibe in here and nice staff. Would love to come back. Thank you!

Best food experience we’ve had in a while, very welcoming staff. The feast for 2 was super filling, my boyfriend is a heavy eater, and was stuffed after the meal, and we still had left overs. Would definitely recommend eating here and trying out all the have to offer. 10/10 would eat here again

We live right by Electric Karma on 3rd St and come here often. After awhile, we stopped in and ordered the Fun for One meal and it was honestly the perfect portion size. You get small servings of chicken tikka masala, daal, saag paneer, rice, and naan, which is ideal if you want variety without feeling overstuffed.
Everything was flavorful and comforting, and somehow we still had leftovers to take home. Great value for the amount and quality of food, especially for lunch.

We had such a wonderful time here! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like honored guests. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable — checking on us often to make sure we had everything we needed.
The food was absolutely delicious. I had the biryani, and my husband tried a few different dishes — every bite was full of flavor. They’re gluten-free friendly, vegan friendly, and extremely accommodating. My husband is on a keto diet and wanted to swap out some ingredients — the staff handled it without hesitation and with a smile.
They were supposed to close at 10, but kindly let us stay as long as we wanted, never rushing us. The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxing evening.
A huge thank you to the whole team for their patience, flexibility, and genuine care. We left with full hearts and full stomachs. We’ll definitely be back!

I tried the Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka, and Samosa at Electric Karma and really enjoyed them. The biryani was flavorful with tender chicken and perfectly spiced rice. The chicken tikka was juicy with a nice smoky flavor. The samosa was crispy and well seasoned and a great way to start the meal. Overall, great authentic Indian food in a cool spot.

One thing that always makes me weak in the KNEES is Veggie korma. It’s a tomato-based curry with the most aromatic spices, chock full of all different kinds of veggies, and dunked with freshly-baked naan bread?? Absolutely DI-vine, no notes, and this restaurant does the veggie korma so well here.
Just steps away from the Grove outdoor mall in LA, Electric Karma has got another specialty dish that you can’t find anywhere else—Butter chicken fries—such a simple combo, but so mindblowingly good.
And you can’t sleep on the Papri chaat, chickpeas and tamarind and mint chutney, all on a bed of the crunchiest chips ever.
And obvi had to get a mango lassi to wash it all down 😉
