A very good experice here at Rice N Roti. This was my first time trying South Indian cuisine and I was not disappointed!
Pros:
1. Big and clean place with nice interiors.
2. The owner and server were both great people.
3. The Lamb Thali tastes great and not very spicy at all. It can be easily shared with two people. It comes with lamb curry, daal, chicken curry, and rice or Naan. The lamb curry was the highlight of the meal and it reminded me of Bangladeshi home made food!
4. Great tandoori chicken! It is flavorful with burst of spices In your mouth. 4 big pieces for only $13. I would say it’s value for money in today’s inflated market.
5. Free water! Which I always appreciate from a restaurant as it doesn’t break the bank for them and a kind gesture.
Cons:
1. There was a new server at the restaurant and we didn’t like the owner misbehaving with him a bit. The server was excellent though!
2. The toilet had a weird smell through the corridor.
3. The tea was so so. The milk is thick which I really like though.
4. Need to pay a bit more attention to customer service.
5. Even though we asked our tandoori chicken to be very spicy it didn’t feel like it was!
Overall a great place to try our South Indian Cuisine.

I ordered chicken biryani, but upon receiving and tasting the food, it was clear that the chicken was spoiled — it had a strong bad smell, indicating it was unfit for consumption.
I immediately contacted the restaurant and informed them of the issue. I even offered to return the food for a replacement, but they refused and were not cooperative. Their refusal to resolve the matter shows a lack of responsibility and amounts to deceptive service. I don’t recommend to go to this restaurant.

Food was delicious!!! And service was amazing with friendly nature. Especially Chicken 65, Karepaku Chicken and chicken Mandi was yummy. With options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, this restaurant is doing their best. Highly recommend this restaurant we will back again

One of the finest places to eat in North Dallas! Starting with the food, I’d never tried mandi but it was one of my best experience. The flavour of the mandi was great and let me tell you about the chicken. It was spicy, tender and delicious. These guys know what they are doing. The people are very friendly too and we had a great conversation. The atmosphere was great and I felt really comfortable. Eager to try out other dishes.

Tried samosa chat and onion samosa. The onion samosa is ok but Samosa chat is not up to the mark which we expect from India. The flavours doesn’t hit the taste. May be I will try one more time. Hope the management will reach customer expectations
