The woman behind the counter taking orders was very snippy and rude. We asked a couple questions about the displays and she acted like we were stupid. The food while good was pricey. 2 pastries (1 small and 1 large), a small souffle, an egg sandwich and 2 drinks were almost $30. You get more food for same price at Denny’s! And the food is same quality. Probably won’t be going back.

Today was the first time I tried this location and my last. This I’m sure is not this establishment first time working a lunch rush. I had a hour for lunch and 43 mins of it was waiting on preparation for my food. After 30 mins of reviewing the board I saw my meal was being prepared. I stood there waiting to here my name and nothing. The young lady was walking back and forth retrieving items. I asked her did they have my meal ready and she casually says ” oh yes here it is”. Well how much longer would it have been if I hadn’t ask. When I get back to work I thought was going to be a good meal I was very disappointed in this rushed sandwich that was made, or should I say bread sandwich. I should have taken a picture but I took a couple of bites before I realized I was eating more bread than ingredients. The soup and chips were cool and the lemonade. This franchise must do better for the price you pay for a meal. Very disappointed.

The last two times I’ve ordered online pickup from this Panera, my salad was botched. Last time it was missing a couple ingredients and this time it’s quite literally just lettuce and two slices of cucumber with some seasoning (Strawberry caprese salad) .
To add on top of it, my sandwich (a bbq chicken sandwich), came as a mixed greens, tomatoes, cheese, and mayo sandwich. Nowhere near what I ordered.
The only things not completely and utterly screwed up were the cookies, Mac ‘n cheese, and chips. These require no real preparation or work, which I guess it makes sense because the workers couldn’t give a care in the world otherwise.
If you want what you paid for, don’t trust this location. They will not only disappoint you, but do it over and over again.
I love Panera and their food, but not when I can’t even eat it.

Every time I come here they’re out of something!!! Every single time! It doesn’t matter if it’s lunch or dinner! They were out of a specific cookie by 1pm the other day! They always say if they’re out that it won’t let you order it on the app so today when I was craving something specific, I ordered it on the app to make sure they had it. Went through check out, paid, sat in the drive thru line to pick my order up for 20 minutes to be told they only had 1 of my items!! It was only 4pm, how do they have 6 hours left before they close and they’re out for the rest of the day? Another time I ordered a tomato soup bread bowl through the app for rapid pick up, went in and got my food and it was just the soup, no bread bowl then they said they were out, but they weren’t even going to tell me, just keep my money! What if it would’ve been a DoorDash order? Just tried to order a bread bowl right after they only had 1/2 of my items…. Out, they’re out, again before dinner even starts!!! Maybe, make more of the stuff you’re running out of every day by 1-2pm!!! I don’t crave stuff much because my medicine makes me not very hungry so when I’m craving something specific it would be nice to be able to get it!

I frequent a few Panera’s in Indy because I love the sips club, but sometimes I treat myself to food. I’ve never really had a “bad” experience, but in the last week, I’ve had two very unpleasant food experiences, and it’s nearly ruined my panera experience overall. The first earlier this week was simply smaller than usual portions and sloppy presentation, which felt like a rip-off, but everyone in the back of the house seemed to disappear when I tried to find someone to help or straight up ignored me when trying to ask for help.
Today, the presentation wasn’t any more appetizing or admirable, and my egg was literally frozen on my salad, and when I went back to find someone, the same thing happened where everyone literally disappeared.. I waited with an older gentleman for about five minutes and simply gave up, finished my food, and left. I’m pretty disappointed and probably won’t order food again, if not for a long time. Sort of makes me want to get rid of the sips club.

I have been very disappointed in this Panera bread twice now so thought I should comment. I have eaten at Panera bread for at least 15 yrs.
The soups taste watered down. I had the broccoli cheddar approx. 2 months ago and today the potato. The quality just isn’t what it used to be. In addition the bathroom wasn’t very clean, especially the floor.

The food was flavorful, the portion sizes were adequate and the place was not terribly busy. There were several tables that needed to be cleaned, the windows and doors were dirty. It seems they may be understaffed. The food was a little pricey for the quality. (Lots of bread, but toppings, fillers were on the small side), so not sure we are ready to make this restaurant a regular dining destination.

Looked at the reviews after picking up my very disappointing order. Some things sure stay the same. Closest location that I might only go to twice a year bc they are inept. Has been this way since they opened.
Online ordered the Tuesday Baker’s Dozen. You would think it would come in the fancy cardboard carrier, but it instead just came with all the bagels loosely tossed in a large paper bag. Also no plastic storage bag to wrap them for later. Is that a thing anymore? I guess we’ll see how the stale everything-cinna-crunch bagels taste on NYE.

This Panera is terrible! The last couple times I have been very disappointed. I’ve tried again and again thinking maybe it’ll change but never does. The food quality is poor and poorly made, they are typically always out of something of some sort that I’m ordering that day. The wait for the food is quite long. And for the price- completely not worth it. I was just there and ordered a whole garden caprese sandwich. Which I typically order halves and this was almost the size of the half for twice the price.. also took a bite and realized that there was barely any ingredients on my sandwich. One side was missing half the things that it should’ve come with. The other half at least had cheese but little to none, including the other ingredients. For a $10 sandwich and basically only getting a small piece of bread and arugula I’m very displeased. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here.

Waited over five minutes for Luke warm coffee. Terrible people taking your order since they forgot I was there for one cup of coffee. Had to honk my horn to get someone’s attention and then they opened the window and lied saying they had to brew fresh coffee then handed me cold coffee with no sleeve around the cup. Lied to a customer because they forgot I was in the drive thru? Terrible service. Hire better people, Panera.
