The Greene Turtle started in Ocean City as a place where beer was king and the menu consisted of a barrel of peanuts. Over time, we’ve grown an obsession with making good food and a belief that staying true to ourselves is what matters most. We make hearty food using fresh ingredients and highlight the blue crab dishes that are authentic to the Mid-Atlantic. Gather around and try food that’s so good that you’ll have to share.

It is the third time we go to this place we really like it because the service was good and the food was great and they have variety of dishes. However I don’t know why this Tuesday night the were short staffed and they don’t have a host. So the waiters sit the people. They told us 15 min wait. We were there with a baby. The sound it was to loud in the entrance because of the bar and the place have a couple large tables. But we wait for 30 minutes and they we leave to find another place. We arrive at 8. Waiter comes at 8:10 and ask us if we wait 15 min. We leave at 8:40 when the hope to find another place to eat.

What a cute little sports bar and grille this is. I came from New York on vacation and was not disappointed by the food or service provided at The Greene Turtle. Upon arrival I told our waitress Jasmyne that I was super hungry and she made sure we got our food quickly and correctly. She was such an attentive server and checked in with us frequently. She answered every question I had, provided excellent recommendations and made sure to provide great service, not just to our table, but every table around us. I was very happy with the food and the service provided. They also had a Friday night karaoke where surprisingly almost every person sounded great lol. I felt like it was a live band show and I really enjoyed my time. We ordered the spinach dip for an appetizer which I would’ve bottled up and taken home if I could. We also got tacos and a carne Asada bowl which was just what I needed after a day of traveling. I will definitely be returning with family and friends.

I’m not sure where to start… I’ve been a customer of Greene Turtle for years & when I say it’s hardly a miss. Not sure why some don’t see the charm or amazing food or drinks they have, but I sure do & have. But tonight was probably one of the best meals I’ve received from there. I of course got my usual, Crab cake duo, chicken Cesar salad, and funnel cake fries. Usually they only give you chocolate and carmel sauce.

The atmosphere at the Green Turtle is a lot of fun. The service was great. Stacy the manager stopped by our table to see how things were going. I needed a refill and she went and got it herself. Her and the entire team were so kind. The crab dip is excellent ! I will definitely be visiting again next time I am in town.

Enjoyed the food! The waitstaff is very very slow, but the food and drinks made up for it (slightly).
The crab dip grilled cheese wasn’t my favorite, they should just put regular lump crab instead of the crab dip plus more cheese!

I went last night (2/13/25) with my son. We were seated quickly, and the place was almost empty. We sat for 20 minutes and nobody even came to take our drink order. We saw 1 staff lady come and clear a table and look at us, and a gentleman came out and waved hi to my son and I. After 20 minutes I got up to see where the staff was to find them standing by the kitchen joking and playing. I said hello and they just told me good bye. I obviously got visibly frustrated and they asked if something was wrong. I let them know that we had been sitting for 20 minutes. They apologized and said they forgot we were there.

Went here for Valentine’s Day. Based on previous reviews, I expected there to be a long wait, but everything was served promptly. The food was absolutely incredible. The staff was was kind. Had a 10/10 experience. Would highly recommend.

Very impressive lunch! Stopped in with some family for a little birthday lunch. Although there was a bit of a wait due to a large party, our waitress was still personable and attentive. The food was delicious! My burger was cooked exactly to order, the fries were seasoned perfectly, and the chicken tenders were hot, crispy and fresh! The peach tea had delightful diced peaches on top and tasted fresh. I was extremely impressed, even with slower service than usual. I do plan to return!

Everytime I come to The Green Turtle my service and food is amazing. The atmosphere is not loud and, I can enjoy the time I am spending there! Regarding the food, I enjoyed it very much, it came out hot and we had to wait a bit for it to cool down. Exactly how we wanted it mind you! If you are ever in the area give this place a try. We will be coming back!
