For a place that is known for bbq rib, I don’t think they even know what it means. The rib plate could be easily the most terrible thing ever cooked on the planet earth. lThe rib was overcooked and tasteless. The fries were beyond rubbish. The coleslaw was completely sugar sweet, no sour taste whatsoever. The garlic bread was tasteless and hard as rock. How can this garbage even served to human? For the humanity sake, please cook better food if you are going to charge money for it.

Went there for lunch with two clients. The BBQ chicken was hard as cardboard; looked more like chicken jerky. It was obvious my brisket came out of the microwave, and it was a bit rubbery. The pulled pork on Texas toast did look good. The restaurant was clean and nice looking. The Shorty’s in the Dadeland area is much better.

Went here today. I’ve always heard bad things about this place but, I have to say i had the baby back ribs and they weren’t bad at all. Definitely give Flanny ribs a run for their money.I will be coming back to Shortys. Only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because our server was terrible. Didn’t greet us at all when first arrived at our table she just stood there also had no knowledge of the menu at all someone should really get Silvia V some training asap. In accordance, food was great but they also didn’t have 4 out of the 5 things me and my fiancée originally wanted to order. When i asked why server said” we run out” lol okay.
