I sent an email and photos to the franchisor and Isabel Guerra replied to my email. She offered me a refund or replacement meal, but I had to drive 55 miles to get the refund or replacement meal. I asked Isabel to either mail me the refund or make arrangements at a location close to me and she declined. She actually refused and expected me to drive 55 miles for a $12.35 refund. The biggest shocker for me was Isabel explaining in her email that their cheese doesn’t melt – it just gets soft! What? In an enchilada? Given this poor, actually terrible, approach to customer ‘service’, I will not go back to Roberto’s. Doesn’t matter to a customer if the store is a corporate or franchisee, the franchisor is the one that suffers. No more Roberto’s for me due to the careless handing of a customer complaint, which I tried to get them to make right before posting online about my experience.
Unfortunately, my experience took a downturn when I found pieces of plastic in my burrito (see pic). This was a major disappointment and took away from what could have been a much better dining experience.
In summary, while the staff and certain menu items, like the tacos, are commendable, the plastic in my burrito was a serious issue. If you’re stopping by, the tacos and salsa bar are worth trying, but I’d be cautious about the quality control.
Aside from the food being so good, everyone that works here is nice, courteous and professional. To top it off, the place is immaculately clean! I have never seen anything dirty here. The bathrooms, floors, tables, everything is super clean and it always smells clean.
You cannot go wrong here. If you want amazing Mexican food, great service and a clean place to eat… THIS IS THE PLACE!! My family and I love it!
Stopped in for a quick lunch after a trip to Red Rock Canyon on the way to Hoover Dam. Very pleased and full!! It was so good I forgot to take pictures before we started.
Just an honest review. It’s fine. Maybe it would be better if it was eaten at location and carry out. We arrived 10 minutes before the pickup time I was given. And we live 5 minutes from the restaurant.
Got the 2 X Cheese enchiladas. Cheese wasn’t melted at all. Enchilada sauce tasted canned, like a store bought sauce which isn’t a huge deal, but it left a sour after taste.
Rolled Tacos- Dry. They were crispy, but dry on the inside. The unmelted cheese and semi warm guacamole didn’t help much either.
Carne Asada fries. These were good. Soggy, likely from the pickup time I was given being way off. It flavor was there and Carne Asada was a good texture.
Chimichanga w/ rice and beans- this was a good one but can’t go wrong with a fried burrito!
Moral- if you’re gonna get takeout, order it there and then take it to go. Don’t order online because in my experience, the pickup time was not correct and the food sat way longer than it needed to and got cold which drastically changed the flavor and ability to enjoy most of the food. Or eat at location. Best fir a lunch spot, or a pop in.
