Farine means flour, and it’s at the heart of what we do. Farine Bakery & Cafe is a labor of love – to bring high quality breads, pastries, desserts and brasserie-style meals to our Eastside neighborhoods. We started with the idea that everyone deserves good bread…and really good croissants…and tartines, tarts, waffles, salads! We spent years researching the right combinations of food, drinks and ambience to create Farine. We traveled extensively across France and Belgium to draw inspiration from their rich culinary traditions, and then looked locally to create something unique for this corner of the Pacific Northwest.

I was told seating was first-come, first-served, so I placed my jacket at a table before joining the line to order. However, by the time I finished, a staff member had removed my jacket and given the table to someone else. While I luckily got my jacket back and found another spot, the coordination was frustrating.
Additionally, the parking situation is confusing. The same building offers parking for $10/hour, but the staff was unsure how to waive the fee for retail. Great food, but the service logistics definitely need improvement
