Rock ‘n Roll Brewery in downtown Evanston, with tasty crafts and giant collection of RnR memorabilia! Great servers, with great insights into brews and friendly tips for exploring town.
IPA and Amber were both crisp and tasty. Wishing we’d stayed for the food because it looked better than what we settled for later. Good mix of locals and travelers, great playlist.

We went in the mid-afternoon during the week.. it was a little quieter at that time. The atmosphere and ambiance is fun, retro Rock and Roll. We had the most awesome waitress, her name was Dawn I believe. She was super attentive and right on top of everything.
When I go to Suds I always get the Reuben and onion rings. I love a good Reuben and theirs is the best I have ever had.
I would recommend Suds Brothers to everyone. You Utahns need to drive up to Evanston on the weekend and try them.

My hotel recommended this place so I had to try it out. First off the atmosphere is a light, homey western Wyoming brewery with families, locals with dogs, people of all ages…kind of a Cowboy Cheers. Second, the wait staff and bartenders were ON IT. There but not hovering, giving suggestions, friendly. Wonderful! I assigned Dawn (the Alpha bartender) dealer’s choice of sandwich/beer suggestions and she brought the Rueben with homemade kraut, onion rings and Sud’s Mexican Lager. Fantastic! Well done Suds.

Wow what a disappointment. Let me start this with Suds was my go to when going to Evanston. Tonight was the last Rhonda was terrible as a hostess and the food was even worse if that could be done. I went to the kitchen and asked for my bill to pay which I shouldn’t have, I should have just left. The fries were horrible and she acted like she was really upset about the fact that they sucked so bad. Never been treated so poorly and I have eaten across the world. Thankfully there is a bright spot this forced me to find a different place to eat late at night and we found a really amazing place in Heber Utah called Back Forty Ranch House Grill. They were amazing and actually welcomed our business!

Atmosphere was comfortable, welcoming, and very clean. Our waitress was spectacular. She knew about the beers that were on tap and was able to tell us about each one. The beers on tap were very good. We bought a 64oz Growler to take one of their on taps home to enjoy on another night. Food was okay. Wouldn’t go to Suds just for the food. Portions were on the small side. If you are hungry I recommend getting an appetizer before your meal. This is a great place for a date (if connection was more the focal point and not so much the food) or get together with friends and/or family.

First time sitting down to eat while visiting Evanston, and it might end up being the only place for future visits. Great food, had the French dip, very good. Great fries. Fun little joint. Very friendly and helpful staff. It’ll be hard to try other places round here.
EDIT (JUN 11 2025): Our 2nd visit and it was even better! HUGE shout-out to Dawn who is an AWESOME server. We found out about the beer cheese soup and used it to dip our fries in (recommend beer fries), and took the extra (and some of their amazing chili) home to make chili cheese dogs (Dawn’s recommendation). Burgers and sandwiches are top notch.

We ate here during an overnight stay in Evanston.
The menu has a great selection and the prices were reasonable. We all had burgers and they were huge and delicious. We also appreciated the selection of sides. Coming from Colorado we really enjoyed and appreciated the great craft beers. Highly recommend the Octoberfest and Amber.
Another nice surprise was the happy hour $3.50 pints.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The beef in the French Dip tasted and smelled off putting. The sandwich was small. For around $13 this sandwich is not worth it. A $2 hot dog would have been a better value. It took around an hour for our food to come out. They said it was busy, but either way I won’t be back. They even had raw chicken sitting out at room temperature. Pictures included.

We went to Suds for dinner after over 20 hours on the road and highly recommended by our hotel. Our server was efficient and friendly. My husband loves his chicken Alfredo. My father’s Reuben was ok. My mother’s and my grilled cheese was barely grilled, barely warm, and the cheese wasn’t melted. The fries, which we asked for crunchy, were limp and cold. I didn’t have any energy to complain and ate my sandwich but not the fries. My mom very politely spoke to the manager and told her about her disappointment but that she was starving and was going to eat the food anyway. The manager took 50% off my mom’s meal – completely fair. We can not recommend Suds.
