Social Profile:

In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. We do things the Bueno way, and you’re sure to taste the difference.

Counter-serve Mexican chain offering tacos, burritos & quesadillas plus a serve-yourself salsa bar.

Went out of my way to try this particular location. I ordered a beef nacho salad and it hit the spot. Was tasty entree and the salsa bar looked and tasted fresh. This location has had its ups and downs bc of its location and clientele to be honest. Tonight this location did itself PROUD! Good job crew!

Ordered a mucho tostada w no lettuce or tomatoes, and mucho nachos with the sour cream on the side. I asked for 3 firehouse salsas and 3 normal salsas. I should have known when the man handed me 2 of each that he wasn’t paying any attention as he prepared my order. I got home to eat and lettuce and tomatoes are all over the tostada and sour cream all over the nachos. I go back to look at the receipt for their number bc here I paid $15 after rounding up to help their cause and I can’t eat a single item I ordered and under employee name it says order taker and for the address 123 main st, Anytown, CA. They aren’t for real, are they? What a joke bc they sure got me!

I wish that there were more Taco Bueno locations available in my travels. Endure with a good attitude. The equality and portion sizes are very superior to Taco Bell. I travel a lot and often looking for a quick bite from a drive-thru and Taco Buenos are a welcome find over most all other fast food drive-thru

If you want to spend $40+ and not receive your food, definitely visit the Taco Bueno in town west. And don’t bother trying to call because they will let the phone ring off the hook and then pick it up and immediately hang up the call. We keep giving this place a chance because it’s close to home and we are finally done.

Taco Bueno is like that toxic ex you swear you’re finally over. Years go by and you start thinking…maybe they’ve changed. Maybe they’ve grown. Maybe this time it’ll be different. So you give them another chance. Do NOT go back. And definitely do not spend $10 on cheesecake chimichangas. They will forget to put them in your bag every single time. And when you call the store, they will pick the phone up just to immediately hang up on you. Let me save you the heartbreak.

The store was clean. Our order was taken quickly and prepared promptly. The food was tasty and hot from the kitchen. The only issue was the fountain Dr. Pepper was out. The staff worked diligently to fix the issue but it was going to take additional time. We gladly accepted iced teas. The condiments/salsa bar was well- stocked. After, finishing my Big old Burrito my mouth was on fire! If you like fire in your salsa then Taco Bueno’s Firehouse Salsa maybe just what your mouth has been wanting to taste! Taco Bueno beats the other Mexican fast food joints to pieces!

Great workers but this message is for the GM and RM of this district. Clean up your store. There is mold underneath, in the cracks and on the pop nozzles of the beverage station. And treat your workers with a little more decency with the fact that they are all you’re have keeping the store afloat. This is your one week warning before I purposely come back to see it done. If not I will be making a call to the city of Tulsa to inspect your store. Make this happen please or I will come take your job and do it for you.

Horrible service. Person taking my order couldn’t figure basic ordering. No hot sauce in the building. Who’s running this place? Even crappy McDonalds has Ketchup.

Drive lady really disrespectful won’t be back. All I did was ask a question and get hateful remarks and comments. No thank you. Definitely taking my business elsewhere.

I ran through the drive-through for lunch today. This is the only time I’ve been to this Bueno and will remain the only time. I got to the window and was charged for the wrong order. It’s no big deal. I’m on lunch break kinda in a rush. Get down the road. They got my correct order, but I specifically asked for no cheese. Everything was covered in cheese only. Call them to ask for a refund. I now have to drive all the way across town to get my 11 bucks back. I’ll eat gas station burritos before I go back.
