My husband and I love this place and have been coming here for years. They recently started serving shrimp tacos…soooo good The hamburgers are fantastic, too. We had lunch today, but often come for breakfast.

Great atmosphere, lots of space, and a unique small-town vibe inside. My parents and I went for lunch and were surprised by the quality of the food. My mom is very picky about meat (which is why I suggested a Goode Co. location), and she couldn’t get enough. We will definitely be back!

Stopped by for a team lunch. While the Goode Company Cantina isn’t my favorite, I had no other option since this was a paid work outing. Goode Company Hamburgers and Taqueria exceeded my expectations. I chose their Hamburger and was a decent size and cooked perfectly. The Mexican dishes they offered looked like much more traditional Mexican as opposed to Tex Mex, my coworkers meals looked good. Wished they had horchata, only reason they did not receive the full 5 stars from me. Service was excellent.

Uh, just NO. Keep in mind we’re always looking for a new “our place” type of restaurant/bar to hang out in our area.
Thinking this Goode Company location might be our type of place we went their last Wednesday.
We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, a salad, and two margarita’s. Total? $60.00 before tip! (yes you read that right).
Uh the sandwich was fine, the salad ok too, but the margaritas? Just not good. Tasted like strong lime-aid with WAY too much lime.
The bottom line is we left feeling underwhelmed if not just downright ripped off. The $60.00 plus tip is one thing but for that price the margarita’s better be world class.

Not going back

Update: I gave Goode Company’s fries another try today. And aside from having what seemed like half a salt shaker’s worth of salt on them, they came out better than the last time still inedible, this time because of the salt; but crispy and nicely browned .

Specify “ no salt”

Previous post:
You will see that I gave three stars for service. The reason for this is/was…I assume that the kitchen saw nothing wrong with the fries they sent out, this, I must assume this is the norm.

Also included in the photo section, in additon to the In and Out fries from Katy is a photo I took in my kitchen, as I made falafel and French fries also. I’ll also show the browner fries that showed up that night at Goode Company.

But, and it is a big but. It may have been an off night. I plan to go back at least twice to compare. And update my rating and review if this was just a one off bad batch.

Goode Co Hamburger and Taqueria is a fantastic local spot that manages to deliver on two very different culinary fronts. It’s clear why this is a local favorite; the combination of high-quality ingredients and a dedication to proper cooking methods makes for a reliably great meal every time.
Ambiance and Ordering Style
The first thing you’ll notice is the large dining area, which ensures there’s almost always space, making it great for everything from a quick meal to a relaxed weekend lunch. Be aware that the menu is prominently posted on the wall and changes based on the time of day, adding a bit of dynamic variety to your visit.
One major highlight is the flexibility on weekends: they offer a full Brunch menu, but if you’re not feeling pancakes or eggs, you can easily order from the standard lunch menu as well. This flexibility is a huge convenience.
The Food Focus: Mesquite and Freshness
While the “Taqueria” side offers tempting choices, my personal go-to order is the chicken burger. This dish is truly elevated because they grill everything over mesquite wood. That mesquite smoke permeates the meat, giving it a depth of flavor that sets it apart from standard grill fare.
The commitment to quality doesn’t stop at the main dish. The fries are excellent—fresh, never frozen, which makes a huge difference in texture and taste. It’s the little details like this, combined with the smoky mesquite flavor, that guarantee a positive experience.
Final Verdict
Goode Co offers consistently good food in a welcoming setting. If you appreciate a smoky flavor and fresh ingredients, this place is a must-visit. It’s truly a reliable, top-tier choice for a casual, satisfying meal.

I was looking for a fat, juice and mesquite burger reasonable price and I got that and beyond, glad it comes with fries not like other overpriced places I’ve been, so happy I had an amazing experience!

Im from Texas and I Texas we know tacos and Mexican rice! This was definitely worth the price I ended up with 2 store bought taco shells from old elpaso or something so.ething like refried beans out of a bag and some boil in a bag rice the margaritas tasted like something from taco cabana actually come to think of it taco cabanas are better! I think I’ll stop by to have one of those it may just soothe my hurt feelings over this sad day in a man who loves tacos history.

One of my old favorite, great priced, local stops!

Brought a buddy with me who’s never been to any of the Goodie CO’s establishments.

The host was wonderful! She helped us decide and educated my friend on the menu on the top choices.

He actually didn’t want a burger but we both were able to hype him up on it. In the end he was blown away at how good the food was. How clean and flavorful the burger was. The tenderness of the fajitas, the rich flavor of the chicken! With a little salsa on top, we were in heaven.

You really can’t go wrong with anything here. They know what they are doing, using fresh ingredients, and powerful flavors!

Will always be returning for more.
Thank you again for a wonderful meal.
