This place is absolutely disgusting. The owner and employees literally sit outside the front door blowing cigarette smoke on there customers as they walk in. On purpose I watched them go back in and not wash there hands. They thought nobody was looking. I wanted to vomit how disgusting this place is. Then to make things worse awhile back I left as a potential future customer because they were handling food with no gloves. Some people have no pride in what they do.

TERRIBLE is an understatement. Went here for a tuna fish sandwich and 1 pound of macaroni salad. I should have taken the hint once I read a few bad reviews but I always give a place a shot. Well this time I should have listened, I walked in and the guy who sat behind the counter just looked at me so I assumed he was going to help or ask what j wanted but nope just looked like a statue. Then as I get my food he says ooo no macaroni salad here. What kind of bagel place doesn’t sell salads. As I left and sat in my truck I debated in picking up another tuna fish sandwich on a roll and Mac salad from Bagels on the Bay closer to me in Oakdale and I’m glad I did. There was no mayo even on the sandwich and it definitely wasn’t worth $7.50.

Gross… Gross it is absolutely filthy . I ordered as I waited and observe i couldn’t believe it! They cook was touching everything with no gloves . Making those pre cooked egg sandwiches cheese out a some Tupperware at 1pm to put up front for the next day as they were closing. Using egg mix not real eggs and eating off the grill with his hands then he continued to make tge sandwiches. Look at the kitchen dust and food everywhere ugh. Lady in the front was just as unsanitary no gloves touching all the bagels to find the one as she was coughing away. Ordered a turkey wrap for my husband with Swiss he took 2 bites said something was off. I did not even bother to eat my bagel I was so grossed out. Never again!! $28 in the garbage no way I was eating this food. I would not eat those precooked egg sandwiches they are definitely not fresh cooked the day before. Health dept should definitely visit this place.

The owners are disgusting. I’ll never be back because of the service. As I was walking into the store the two owners were standing right outside the front door smoking. I have bad asthma and they blew smoke right in front of me as I was walking in. I had to leave as I was coughing and had to go to the car to use my inhaler. The kid at the counter could have cared less when I said something. You could have caused me to have an asthmatic attack. Owners could have cared less. Never going back.

I think they have some pretty interesting ideas but they don’t always hit. Their iced coffee and lemonade for example feels like an approximation of those flavors rather than the flavors themselves, and some may find that unpalatable. With how many items they serve and the limited staffing, it’s no wonder. I hope they find consistency, but in the mean time I will stick to their egg sandwiches.
