We celebrated our birthdays at Honda and had an amazing experience! We ordered the steak and chicken hibachi, which came with a shrimp appetizer, fried rice, soup, and salad. Everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. The flavors were delicious, and the portions were generous. The hibachi chef and staff were excellent. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I arrived and found parking without a problem. Once seated, I was quickly greeted by my server who was able to provide a suggestion based on my request. Once I completed my order the food was prepared and delivered without delay.
I had green tea, miso soup, salad and three spicy rolls: spicy tuna, spicy California, and spicy salmon. Overall each roll was flavorful and fresh. I prefer the rice a bit softer, but enjoyed the rolls.

I usually love the food I order from here but tonight it was not good. The sushi rolls were ginormous compared to usual and were not right. The lobster in king lobster rolls was rubbery and fishy. Not good. Waited an hour for food which we knew but I was really hoping for my usual yummy rolls and appetizers. Service was fine. Busy for Valentine’s Day so I’ll give it another try.

We start coming to this place for about 10-12 years food is really good, my kids get really excited when we mention that we are coming here.. all my stars goes to the guy (chef) on the hibachi grill.. but the guy on the front desk always pushed us to eat at the tables.. yes food if really good in my experience but my kids love the little show.. we drive 40 minutes from ILL never can’t do a reservation and normally we wait but today this guy in front desk said “no more hibachi for today ” at 5 pm because it was 10 people waiting? If that.. so we have to walk out of there looking at my kids really sad after driving 1 hour to get there and not get service.. after 10-12 years not sure if coming back.. probably look for a new place..

For the price point, this meal was unacceptable. We ordered takeout, and everything lacked flavor. The salad was wilted, the teriyaki shrimp and steak came with no vegetables, and the sushi wasn’t even close to proper sushi — just an old piece of fish placed on rice. The gentleman on the phone was polite, but we ended up forcing the food down so it wouldn’t go to waste. They used to be fresh but not these last few times.

The food was very good, still the best Sushi in Kenosha, even after Sooshibay has opened. The only thing I’m not happy with is the service, they barely give enough time to open the menu before they’re trying to get your order. Especially ordering sushi, it normally takes a little time to decide. The other thing was our sushi got delivered and not even 5 minutes our entrees came out. I really do t like that they can’t space things out, give you time to enjoy one course before bringing the next.

One of my go to places for shashimi. The sushi is excellent also. I don’t eat the hibachi myself, but my family loves it. The decor is a little dated, but clean and comfortable.

My experience at HONADA was pretty good. Service was decent, food was great, their were customers that detracted from my experience. When you arrive they have a large japanese menu, staff is friendly and present but mostly waiting which could be good or bad depending on your need. I will definitely stop in again when I pass through.

The servers were polite and attentive, but the sushi wasn’t worth it. It seems like the issue is a cost/quality dilemma where the ingredients are cheap, because the orders were correct, but the rice and other ingredients weren’t satisfactory. Almost seems like all the rice in the place is cooked the same and repurposed instead of seasoned sushi rice
