So… ordered 1 triple whopper and 3 bacon kings… The Whopper? Dry as dry could be. I literally had to add my own ketchup because the splat was so sad. And the patties? Burnt to a crisp on the edges and smelled like the gas from the grill. The bacon kings? Since when is 1.5 measly slices of bacon okay? Again, sad splat of ketchup on each, burnt, and… um, where’s the mayo? Seriously! All three of them were missing mayo.
Barely edible. At least I got them on sale with my Walmart+ perks.
This is the only place I’ve found where I can get burgers for breakfast. I work nights, I don’t want breakfast stuff when I get off. So I’m definitely not happy. Will be holding off on going back for awhile.
Oh, and guy couldn’t find my mobile order even though I was there 1 minute after the requested done by time. It was sleeting/snowing. I wanted to get home before it got too slick, but nope, sitting there waiting.
Atmosphere was good though… I love the interior of my car.

Lena and Carlos just made my take out experience (in a snow storm) so amazing. They went above and beyond making sure I was set with everything before I left making the transportation of supper for my children as easy as can be. You do NOT see this type of service often now a days. You could tell they take pride in customer care and efficiency in service!

Stopped in and ordered breakfast on the kiosk the morning of December 21st. After I noticed no employees were to be found except for one guy back in the kitchen I said hello to get their attention. The lady who walked up to the counter and said ya, what do you need? was very rude. I said I ordered food and she said ya! I know! , then bagged the food and looked very angry. No thank you or anything. I’ve been coming to this location for years and used to be a loyal customer but stopped coming here after I was treated with similar service the last time I was here. It appears there’s been a staff change over the last year, as the old staff was always smiling and very polite. Can’t say the same for the new staff. I think I finally learned my lesson this time though. I thought I would give them one more chance, but after today I will continue to take my business elsewhere. Also the hash browns have tasted like old fryer grease the last couple times I have been to this location. Pretty gross.

Honestly people were okay but service was bad. You can tell they don’t give a damn at this location. I ordered my food and it came out so bad make me never wanting to get BK there. I could say a lot more but it’s not like I would get my money back without my receipt so I’m just writing this review. I learned to just go over to B-bop across from there for a burger. Won’t be coming back. I advise all people who live near the Windsor Heights location go elsewhere for burgers. They are bland.

I understand you have a kiosk but that doesn’t mean the customer service goes downhill. Stood around for over three minutes with the lady at drive thru staring over at us without a word. No greeting no smile nothing…ordered drinks and there was no Dr pepper no coke….barely anything on the damn machine. Sprite is nasty and watered down…food was mid when breakfast is usually the best part of their menu. Will not return

Working a show in Des Moines over the weekend and had to make a quick stop for breakfast this morning 7:30 am 07Nov2025.
I ordered inside, and the woman who waited on me, I think she was manager, her name is Ro, was very nice and patient. She took time to tell me about her store’s charitable donations and how they were able to provide scholarships for several young people last year. This made for a very nice morning for me, thank you. Oh and the breakfast croissant and iced coffee were so good.

The lady behind the counter acted like she was being put off to help me. They no longer offer the drink that I ordered online, and the newfangled drink machine pretty much everything in there was unavailable except for a few goofy selections. Not sure why I even stop at Burger King at this location anymore.

if i could give this 0 stars i would. whoever took our order was rude, cut us off after ordering one thing and tried to give us the total. continued to get ruder and ruder as our order went on and continued to cut us off and give us our total while ordering. ignored when i said i wanted a meal and messed up our other sandwich order after repeating back to us what we asked for, never even gave us a chance to change our fries to onion rings.i’ve worked in fast food almost all of my life and have never been so disappointed. all that coming from the MANAGER. crazy to think how he’s training his employees if he acts that way.

I was really excited to order the SpongeBob combo through the drive-thru, but the experience was disappointing. They didn’t give me the pineapple drink and didn’t include the SpongeBob toy in my bag. I paid for the full combo and didn’t receive what I ordered. Very frustrating. They should pay more attention to orders.
