Rather quiet town, quiet restaurant. Place could use a deep clean / refresh but otherwise comfy. Service was good though several employees seemed unbridled to be there. It does happen. Food was good. Our chicken was over-cooked and our server was happy to remedy the matter. The Mgr, a very nice lady, saw to it we had new chicken which was juicy and not dry. The interaction was very pleasant. We thank her for her superior cust svc.

Tonight my husband and I along with our friends went to this establishment. Not only was the service TERRIBLE but the food did not measure up either. Our waitress never came for refills and we had to chase her down, she got almost everyone’s food orders wrong or missing something. My husband and I both got the wrong order. One was someone else’s food entirely that was then ran to their table. I was the last to get my food. By the time I got my French toast everyone else finished eating thats just how long it took. I ended up boxing it and taking it home because it was late and we had a decent drive home. Ended up the French toast was completely burnt on both pieces that I didn’t see right away. The waitress even split the bill wrong even though we told her at least twice on how it would need split. Would never go back to this Bob Evans after this experience. Honestly haven’t been to one in ages and this just was a terrible experience.

I usually eat here however I went to pick up food for a takeout order today. I went in and there were three workers at the front. One was rolling silverware, and one was handling an issue on the phone, the third was sitting there, staring at everybody not doing anything. I was not acknowledged or anything. I stood there for about six minutes, not being acknowledged, and then other people came to the front to check out, and she (the third worker) acknowledged them, but ignored me still not saying a word to me. Even if she did not work the part that I was seeking service from she could have said something instead of sitting there staring at me like she was clueless. It really upset me that she didn’t say anything to me, and she didn’t acknowledge my existence at all when she was the only one not doing anything at that time and was able to help or at least say something about someone else needing to help me. I just needed to know which bags belonged to my order because there were several bags at the counter and I didn’t want to take someone else’s bags.

Once again, my takeout order was wrong. I always ask for gravy on the side for the turkey dinner since the meal will not be eaten immediately when I saw that the gravy was put on the french fries I went back to tell her and the only comment was it wasn’t her fault. It was the cooks fault they didn’t offer to get fresh fries so they wouldn’t be all soggy. This happens every single time I order it. I take out meal and it’s getting so old.

This place used to be good I’m not sure what has happened this is the second time my to go order has been terrible I ordered the turkey dinner With mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans I didn’t get any mashed potatoes and no gravy it came with double stuffing with NO GRAVY and half of a slice of Turkey crazy there is no since calling the manager last time I did she said she would call back and still hasn’t what a joke to pay that kind of money for junk!

I ordered the rise and shine burger, it is always a good option to choose. The side of fries were done as well. Although the portions here are on the smaller side. My waitress was distracted with other employees, however she was still helpful and swift with our order. The atmosphere is very clean and organized.

Bob Evans is an Ohio-based chain restaurant. I was in the area and found this restaurant to be a decent spot for casual dining. I’m not a picky eater so the quality might not be up to other reviewers’ expectations, but I was able to get a good portion of food for under $10.

Seated very quickly at a table that was just cleaned and the table and seats were left SOAKED.
The food that we ended up with was OK and when we did see our server he was OK
BUT ………..
Ceiling tile missing with insulation hanging out over top of the tables where people were eating.
The windows were absolutely filthy inside and outside and the divider windows
The menus were nasty with food stuck inside of them.
The walls were really dirty(hand prints and food)
And it don’t look like anything has been wiped down in months.
The floor was in need of a good cleaning all over.
Under our table was toast and silverware and trash.
The seat was ripped and patched with tape that is peeling up and stuck to my pants. We saw a couple other seats this way.
The bathrooms were in need of some attention.
We think our server went on break for a while because we waited for 20 minutes to get out bill.
Other employees playing grab a@# and carrying on in the lobby (an older gentleman that is a server and a younger girl)
When we paid the girl behind the counter were nice to the people on the phone. She never did say anything to us.
We have been there many times in the past and the place is always a mess but it was a complete nightmare today. The place is in need of some management.
And the short handed due to COVID excuse can’t be used because there were plenty of employees. Just nobody to lead them.
All in all if I could give them a negative star rating I would today . Probably never make the mistake of going back there again.
