What a breath of fresh air when it comes to Italian restaurants in Lubbock! Let’s face it people, Olive Garden is garbage and Orlandos is a solid option, but it’s more like a tex mex option for Italian food. This place has a solid spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken marsala is phenomenal! Definitely my new fave spot for Italian and if you’re in the downtown area it’s a must visit.

Today we ventured off to find some Italian cuisine. If u have not visited this place you r missing out. We arrived after the lunch rush so about five minutes to be seated. First time to visit this fine establishment. Greeted and seated. Ordered sweet tea like the southern kind of sweettt tea. Waiter delivered to our table some fresh bread and it was dense and soft. I ordered the chicken picatta it just as liked it. My spouse order the seafood combo with pink sauce it was divine. The atmosphere was serene and the music was right up our alley soft and smooth. Located in old downtown where the building fits right with the restaurant.

This is easily one of my new favorite spots in Lubbock. The service was great and the food was amazing. I had the Chicken Milanese, which is in their specialty menu. It was a massive serving size, easily could be shared. They also serve fresh baked garlic bread which could be it’s own feature. My only downside was that it’s an open restaurant, making it somewhat loud once it’s busy. I also found the TVs to be distracting from the atmosphere. I will be back, and bring my friends and family.

Great place! Every meal feels like it’s made from scratch, big sizes and not bland like the other Italian places.

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant during our stay in Lubbock. Initially, I was a bit hesitant when we arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised as soon as we stepped inside. We were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and offered great suggestions that turned out to be fantastic choices.
We began our meal with fried ravioli and cheese sticks, paired with a delicious dipping sauce. For his main course, my husband chose the chicken Parmesan served with spaghetti. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the same wonderful sauce from the appetizers topped the pasta, making it a delightful dish. The chicken featured a thin, crispy crust and was tender and fully cooked.
I opted for the chicken with tortellini in pink sauce. The chicken was just as incredible as my husband’s Parmesan chicken, while the tortellini was delightful, and the pink sauce was creamy and perfectly seasoned without any one ingredient overpowering the dish. The portion sizes were generous!
The bread served with our meal was fresh and light—definitely worth trying with butter. Although the restaurant was quite busy, our food arrived in a timely manner and tasted freshly made. The portions were so substantial that I enjoyed some leftovers for lunch the next day, and they were even better!
This place is a definite must-visit when you’re in town.

This was our first time visiting Italian Garden, but it certainly won’t be the last time. A friend of mine recommended it to me and we had a large group of about 17 people from our church. We were all taken care of by Kyle, who did an EXCELLENT job. My wife and I had the spinach artichoke dip to start with, we split a side salad, and I ordered the Chicken Milanese, on the recommendation of my friend. Truthfully, I can’t remember what my wife got, but she said it was delicious. My Chicken Milanese was excellent, I’ve never had that before and so glad my friend recommended it to me. We had PLENTY of left-overs and the food was so good, can’t say enough about the wonderful service from Kyle, especially with such a large group of people. I forgot to take photos, that is the ONLY thing I’m disappointed about. So now, I’ll have to go again to take photos.
Can’t say enough about this restaurant.
It’s in downtown Lubbock, which a lot of people would avoid on the weekend, but you’d be making a HUGE mistake. We will definitely go back, and SOON !!
Top Notch Italian Food !!
