Chowder was great and the beer selection was cheap and good. Definitely a local place and the service was excellent! I think the market price seafood is probably fresh because the haddock tasted like it was probably frozen. I loved the flags on the walls!

Park Lunch is a sports-themed pub filled with local and college sports memorabilia. As big Fighting Irish fans, my husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere, though the space felt a bit cramped. It’s best for a quick meal rather than a place to linger.

The menu is extensive and has plenty of options for all palettes. I went with the Crabmeat Roll, which was only $10.75 on the menu. The sandwich was decent, but the highlight of the night was my husband’s Prime Rib, which he raved about. If we ever return, I would try something with a bigger portion, such as the seafood or the pizza. The best part of this restaurant is that the service is extremely warm and welcoming. We did not feel rushed, despite the restaurant being crowded.

We had clams and scallops, both were cooked perfect. The pictures were taken after we put some on our plate.
Our waitress was attentive. We’ll be back for sure.

Excellent spot to get a bite to eat after coming back from Boston from the train station. Waitress is friendly and has worked there many years. She shows pride in her work. The food came out quickly and was very delicious. Very good coleslaw too. Definitely will visit this place again.

First timers!
Visiting the area from South Florida. Stopped in for an impromptu lunch driving from Salisbury Boardbord to our campground in South Hampton, NH.
Best Decision Ever.

We were pleasantly surprised walking in and seeing the vibe and atmosphere. Loved all the college/ university flags. Bummed we didn’t see Amherst, but we forgive you.

We started with the soup of the day, stuffed mushroom soup. Just wow. So much flavor, so thick and creamy, and loaded with mushrooms. Each spoonful had not “a” mushroom but multiple, Yum!

Spouse had the meatball sub and couldn’t finish it. It was packed with flavor, and the meatballs were the size of golf balls.

I had the roast beef sandwich. They sure weren’t skimpy with the meat. It was thickly stacked.

We shared the sour cream & chive fries. At first, I got bummed ’cause I thought it would have those ingredients on top, but later, I learned the fries were infused with it. After my first fry, I became addicted. They were total perfection!

Our server was Lori, and she was so friendly and attentive and welcoming. We can totally imagine being a local, and in no time, being known by name and our favorite dishes, because these people care.

My wife and I’s first time here. The vibe is nice and cozy, pub feel, lots of people on the weekend. We ordered the clam chowder and the baked Haddock. We wanted the fried calamari however they were out of it so the waitress highly recommended the days special which was steak. The clam chowder was pretty good, the haddock was delicious. But the steak was not good at all. To begin with we were not asked how we wanted the steak cooked, it tasted like stew meat. It was cooked very rare which was not to our liking. So we barely had one bite each and when we finished the waitress said do you need a box, we said no and she didn’t even ask why it was untouched or if we did not like it. And we were charged for it, we felt embarrassed to ask to take it off but with any restaurant if someone returns their plate [that was highly recommended by the waitress] with it completely untouched you would expect to not be charged for it and at the very minimum at least expect the waitress to ask why we barely ate it. So overall good vibe, generous portions, but disappointing service.

It was a very busy Sunday lunch. We got in early when it was quiet. The waitress was nice. She gave us a bill and didn’t ask if we wanted dessert. When my friend asked for coffee, the waitress gave her a look. We were in the seats longer than she wanted us to be.

Too many great things to say, so I’ll just say: get your butt to Park Lunch! We’ve never had a bad meal there! The shrimp, scallops, hotdogs, sausage sub, you name it, all delicious!

Parking is tight. Seating is tight. But they have pretty fast turnover so it’s worth the wait. Sometimes you can catch seating at the bar. I ordered a steak there not too long ago and it was unexpectedly good too
