Bangers and Mash!

We had a lovely early dinner here on Valentine’s Day. The food was authentic but there was nothing exceptional. The curry served with the fries had a tangy surprise but it came in a small, tiny cup. It would’ve been better served poutine style.

Do not miss the bakery! The beef pie/roll (?) was great and we had a lovely time picking out different candies and cookies to try.

Very good prices!

Took my mom for her birthday to afternoon tea and it was wonderful! Nice calm atmosphere because we went at 2:30 PM on a Friday. Tasty small bites and my dad loved his cheesecake with blueberry sauce. You don’t need a reservation but they accept them after 3 PM. Staff were very kind. Strolled the gift shop afterwards and found a beautiful new tea cup for the birthday girl!

Update…
I’ve gone a few times now…unfortunately the food is not consistent. The fish and fries are overcooked sadly. Look at the differences in the photos.

The New to the area, first time trying this place. Our Fish and Chips were light, crispy and FRESH!! And out server was very pleasant! Love the vibe, we will be back!

We came here for dinner, it was one of those days where we were craving comfort food. Had a variety of items – Shepherd’s pie, fries with curry sauce, custard pudding, and Yorskhire teas – everything tasted great. The restaurant itself is very cozy, quaint, and private, with a shop attached to it. Our server was very friendly and the wait was not too long.

Excellent speedy, cheerful service. Food arrived quickly and is excellent. Basically way too good to be authentically British!!!

Return visit just as good: a Lancashire Pasty and a custard-drenched apple and blackberry pie. Our Irish server was attentive and charming.

A nice slice of the united kingdom with all the little plates and objects scattered around. The food is nice and was served quickly. It was especially appreciated as it was piping hot as well. Lovely flaky pastry on my pastie. And others were getting equally delicious looking food. Mine was delicious and definitely worth the visit.

Cute place. Gift shop had some good stuff and the service provided was generally good.

But, they were SEVERELY understaffed and it impacted the service.

My friend and I were one of 2 tables in the place at peak hours on a Friday night. We waited several minutes to be sat. 3/4 of the tables in the place hadn’t been bussed/reset.

The food was BAD.

The worst was the steak, ordered medium, was literally bloody rare. I swear you couldve heard it still mooing on the plate.

Potatoes were clearly instant and the vegetables I think were microwaved and unseasoned.

The server got their manager to give us a $5 discount on the steak, but the manager didnt bother to come and check in or anything.

I will not be returning and wont let any of my friends eat at what might be the most depressing place in Redmond.

I unfortunately didnt take any photos of the food while we were there. We did take the steak home to cook (not reheat) and ive attached a photo of that.

I had the steak and mushroom pie with fries and the bangers and mash. First time trying british food so i didn’t know what to expect. The best parts of the meal for me were the onions and the mashed potatoes that came on the bangers and mash. I read another review below that mentioned the bangers being “breadcrumby” so i googled it and i guess that is exactly what a banger is supposed to be like ‍♂️ For me, the sausage was a bit soft, almost like the mashed potatoes. The gravy is also definitely not “canned” like another horrible reviewer posted below, i enjoyed it. The pie was a bit small and it tasted just alright, fries weren’t anything to rave about. Will have to try some other options if i return

I came out of this restaurant with heart set on bringing friends to this absolutely wonderful place. Had bangers and mash and peas with delicious gravy. All 5 of us loved our food then went into the gift store to buy fun desserts and gift items. We had so much fun!

Two visits now, took the kids along the second time.
Ordered scallops and some eggs Benedict along with fish and chips . Delicious food overall.
The place is super busy on weekends and you’d need to be a bit patient with the service..
