My go to spot for authentic Colombian food. The Bandeja Paisa is top tier. We always get breaded chicken breast with fries for thekids and the portions are so big that all three of them can share one meal. Service is always great, food is delicious and prices can’t be beat!

My wife and I went to Dover to get some stuff. After a while we felt hungry, so we looked for a place to eat and suddenly we found this place called Sabor Latino.
Very good service.
Food.
My wife always gets the best dish. She had fish in a delicious wine sauce, capers, veggies and white rice, the Tilapia Picatta.
Though mine was a simple rice with chicken and fries, it was really good !
Atmosphere.
At first the music was a little loud making it hard to have a conversation. The manager then showed up. He came to our table to check on us. We mentioned about the music. He was very attentive, and kindly lowered the music to a comfortable level.

Went the other day to this restaurant based on reviews. Went with my family and I cannot stress the amount of regret I have ever coming here. The food was just terrible. None of us at my table enjoyed what we had to eat. I ordered their “churrasco” on a shrimp sauce? and I will tell you that thing is NOT a churrasco by no means, not even 1% and the “shrimp sauce” did not help either. One thing that makes a restaurant is their food at the end of the day and this place failed so bad in that department. I will say the service was good and the manager was kind enough to remove my order from the bill. Would I ever return? definitely not. But I really hope and recommend that they hire a new cook, get better ingredients, and even while they’re at it update their menu with better looking pictures of the food.

I enjoyed the sopa de camarón and the tostones con camarón. Both dishes were very flavorful. While the atmosphere was quite loud, we were still able to have conversations. The place was very clean, and there were many options on the menu. I can’t wait to go again!

Karaoke place in town 🙂 I’ve been there twice only I believe. but it is an OK spot.
Update: 2024, after coming to this place a couple of more times, I see and appreciate the service and the food, and also see that hey haven’t changed their prices much , still affordable and the food is great. And the service is excellent.
The manager is always passing by asking you if you need anything and if everything is or was ok with the food.

Visiting Rockaway, NJ and we decided to try Sabor Latino in Dover. Overall the food was good. We ordered the Pandeja Paisa .. Chorizo, chicharrón, rice and beans were delicious. The steak was ok, a little over cooked. The coffee was also ok, a little too milky and not as strong as I’d prefer. We had the fried calamari which was delicious! The restaurant is very nice m. Great atmosphere. I’d definitely come back.

My problem here is their menu design. It’s irritating. I would have ordered a different meal had I been able to find it. The iPad system is also really annoying and flipping through a physical menu I would have been able to actually see all of the options. I didn’t even dislike my meal. It was fine… The frustration was finding out at the end that for some reason certain dishes were categorized in a way that I was never able to find them cause I wouldn’t have looked where they were put. I would have liked an empanadas as part of my meal but they were tucked away as a mini app or in bakery… I just shouldn’t have to click SO much to find what they serve.
Fried snapper was flavorful and impressively crispy. Tostones: crispy. Beans: served a bit cold but fine. Everything needed salt. But the snapper I would consider ordering again. Just hated the menu design and number of clicks I went through!

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner. We both got steaks and both steaks were rare when we had asked for medium. I usually don’t mind my steaks rare but my boyfriend does. His steak was pretty much raw and just cooked in the outside. He ended up sending his steak back for them to cook it more just for it to still be medium rare also a huge part of his steak was a bunch of fat. We’re paying more than $20 for these steaks just for them not to be even cooked. My boyfriend and I were quite disappointed and don’t think we will be coming back. Food bad and we had a terrible experience. At least the service was good ♀️

Always good food and service. The daily lunch special is always excellent and very filling for a great value. It was quiet overall and everyone kept to themselves.
