For two weeks Blakes Lotaburger prepared 70 burritos a day for pickup at 6:00 am. The experience was outstanding again this year! The breakfast burritos have been consistently delicious-hot, fresh and packed with flavor. The green sauce is the best in the state. The burritos portions are generous! What stood out the most was the service. Every staff member is friendly, fast and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about customer service and take pride in delivering food that is exceptional. They are a positive crew that works with efficiency making the experience a 5 star. It’s rare to see this level of consistency and great service day after day in Carlsbad. This team deserves recognition for a job well done! Thank you again to the Blakes team in Carlsbad for going above and beyond. Special thanks to Guadalupe Smith-Assistant Manager, Kenneth Smith, Jaden Vincent and Cecilio Yslas.

Blake’s Lotaburger is one of those places I keep coming back to. I’ve had a few experiences where the wait time was a little longer than expected, but the food always comes out hot, fresh, and worth it, so I honestly don’t mind waiting. And depending on the time you go, some of the crew members are actually really great; friendly, helpful, and on top of things. Overall, the consistency of the food is what keeps me coming back.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Absolutely disgusting service. Went through the drive through got 2 burgers and got charged 4 times. When we proceed to call to let them know of the mistake. The “manager” Guadalupe Smith told us it was our fault. No apologies no trying to remedy the situation And they wouldnt fix it. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY 4X MORE AND THEN BE TOLD ITS YOUR FAULT. HORRENDOUS BEHAVIOR.

Food was good Service was very poor, everything was dirty from the food to the ceiling employees wearing gloves sliding there hands across tables and handling food, became a fan of Blake’s from Clovis, coming hear is like flipping the switch. This place needs better management. I even asked what sauces that provide they never mentioned Blake’s Sauce?

Horrible experience and barely acceptable food. Extremely long wait at the drive in speaker with only one car in front of me. When that car finally moved, there was another extremely long wait before they took my order. Once done I was at the food delivery window with no cars in front of me and waited another good 15 minutes for the food. When I said to the server that took a long time he said dismissively, “it wasn’t that long.” Unbelievable. The burgers were boring and barely me standard. No comparison to even McDonald’s or Burger King’s burgers. Will not go there again and I advise you to stay away.

We started off our lovely experience with taking 10mins waiting at the counter, even to get our order taken.
Then, when our food came out, we were missing a whole burger, and two burgers were made incorrectly.
I went up to the counter to get the other burger and it took me another 8 mins to get someone’s attention.
As all great experiences and we went to the restroom and it was disgusting the women’s restroom had blood and nasty bits everywhere.
0/10 would never eat again.

Went in around lunch on 11/29/25 and ordered a Green Chili NM burger and fries; the burger was tasty, but the fires were overly salted. I ate a few, but ended up throwing the rest away. I learned my lesson not to order fries anymore.

This Blake’s location has a drive through. I tried the season pumpkin pie shake and it was okay. The service was pretty fast compared to other Blake locations that I have been at. Some Blake’s can be extremely slow. However this one did a good job and the food was pretty good.
