Everything is perfect. The patio is nice for a warm winter morning brunch. Should make reservation beforehand to sit by the creek, but the other tables are nice too. The food is tasty and presentable. I love the onion slices dipped in a flour mixture and then deep fried. We spent quite some time on a Sunday brunch, talking with each other, talking with clients on the phone. Nice.

Love this cute restaurant at a small town of San Luis Obispo. Love their outdoor patio. Dog friendly restaurant. Fusion food, dishes that we ordered all of them are good. Staffs are nice. We actually came back twice while visiting there. Price decent. We walked to the restaurant since it’s a distance walk from our hotel. We made rsvp the 2nd time. First time was walking in and lucky they had a table available. So they do take walk in. They can get pack though. It’s very cute town also. Can walk around after for digestions.

Amazing restaurant with friendly staff. The unique experience we had here was sitting in the patio with the beautiful sound of the creek. They have heater to keep you warm even in the cold weather. Food was delicious too.

Nova offers a relaxing and comfortable environment, and the service is attentive and pleasant. However, the food was just average. I ordered a medium-rare ribeye that turned out very chewy and lacking flavor—at $58, I expected something noticeably better than a Texas Roadhouse steak. My friend’s curry rice was fine but nothing memorable. If you’re mainly looking for a calm, comfortable place to sit and unwind, this is a good choice. If food is your priority, you may want to consider other options.

An absolutely delightful place to have lunch. Outdoors..and amazing patio with giant oak tree spreading its branches over diners.
I ordered a BLT and the minute I bit in it, my tastebuds danced, for the tomato reminded me of my Mom’s incredible tomatoes at our Wisconsin home.
It was soooo good. My Mango Spetizer was the perfect accompliment.
Definitely recommend reservations for it is downtown SLO.

We were looking for a place to eat in SLO that allowed dogs. Novo has a massive deck overlooking a creek. We sat at the edge of the restaurant right by a bridge and a footpath. Perfect seat as we had to duck a couple of times to give our dog a chance to relieve himself. Staff was friendly and food came out quickly.

One of the best restaurants in downtown SLO. The spring rolls and chow novo are 10/10 recommend. There‘s something for everyone, including vegans. The outside seating is an 11/10, close to the water, around the trees/nature, and soft lighting. Service is great.

Had a great meal here. The back patio is very charming, with all of the string lights and river flowing nearby. AJ provided fantastic service and was extremely friendly and professional.
I really liked the ahi tuna nachos with wonton chips. Nothing incredibly unique but it was just very well executed, the chips were delicious.
The duck breast entree was perfect for what I was looking for. The flavor of the panaeng curry wasn’t as punchy as you’d find in a Thai restaurant, but the portion size was great, the black rice was great and the veggies were good too.
I’d happily come back next time I’m in town

We visited the other night for dinner without a reservation and were seated outside on the beautiful Creekside dining terrace. When we were first seated, the table location wasn’t ideal—but before we even got started, our server Sebastian noticed and kindly asked if we’d like to move. He promptly relocated us to a Creekside table with a lovely view, which made a great first impression.
The food was excellent. We ordered the Pappardelle Lemon Pasta and the Novo Lettuce Wraps, and both were delicious and well prepared. Throughout the meal, Sebastian was attentive, courteous, and thoughtful, and other staff members also checked in to make sure everything was going well.
We were really pleased with the quality of service, the food, and the overall dining experience. We’ll definitely be back.

What a beautiful setting… Everything was wonderful except the spice level on the Thai curry dish was VERY spicy. The waiter said it was “a little spicy.” I needed extra rice because it was so spicy. I was charged three dollars for the rice. That was a little surprising. I still would’ve gotten rice, it just would’ve been nice to know that before the bill came. My wife’s dish, the lemon pasta, was excellent.
We would definitely be back
