Original review- GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE for better food. would say a good word to sum this place up would be a disappointment! Aside from the wonky business hours, here is a list of things that went wrong. 1. I was charged more than listed on the menu for prices 2. The BLANDEST FOOD I HAVE EVER eaten in my entire life was the hibachi chicken dinner. 3. The ice cream came with whip cream and caramel, and neither were listed on the menu and I HATE caramel. 4. We got passed a few times when needing a box for food. 5. I was never asked how my meal was just my appetizer. 6. The Yum Yum sauce tasted weird. 7. My sushi had very warm rice which heated up my raw fish. 8. I can only say 3 things that were enjoyable about my stop here. Things that were good- the soup, the fried oysters and the waitress I had who had no name tag and never stated her name…. I was so excited to try this place, because I finally made a plan to come here and they were open. I got my ice cream first and my surprise it came with whip, cream, caramel, and sprinkles. As you can see from one of the photos below, that’s not listed at all. I don’t like caramel, so I just kind of had to suffer through. The green tea ice cream itself was pretty good though, so I was hopeful. This would be my only bump. Next came out my appetizer of fried oysters which were amazing. They were beautifully plated, and they tasted just as good. Then I was brought out my sushi. The sushi itself was also beautifully plated and tasted amazing except for the fact that the fish was kind of warm because the rice was warm which you don’t really want when you’re eating sushi. Then I was brought soup. The soup was really good, not the best soup I’ve had, but it was good. then came the hibachi meal. I took one bite of that chicken and it tasted like canned chicken. There was zero seasoning on this chicken and it was dry in the middle and just covered in sauce that was also bland. So then I went for the vegetables because vegetables can’t be that bad can they? They can their vegetables that were cooked and just had bland sauce put on them. Zero seasoning again. I tried the fried rice and same thing the most bland rice I’ve had it tasted, almost exactly like white rice. It just had a different color. You’ll see two photos of the same plate that’s to show you the teeny bite I had of each thing I listed above because the food was disgusting. The waitress didn’t ask if I liked the food and when I boxed up the entire meal never thought to ask how it was…. what a disappointment. If you like bland food, this is the place to be. If you like food with flavor, go somewhere else. On top of that I got charged $.30 more for the ice cream than what was listed. It doesn’t matter because it was just $.30 but what would’ve happened if it wasn’t just $.30.?? It’s OK to just overcharge customers as long as they don’t notice???
Not sure what is going on but it appears the kitchen is moving into the dining area. They have a table set up and it appears this is the new location for preparing to go orders. This combined with the serving staff rushing around in a panic constantly does offset the amazing food. Move the kitchen back to the kitchen and tell your staff to act like they have time to hear what the customers are saying.
