The vegetarian thali was good, offering a satisfying spread of dishes. However, the undisputed highlight of the meal was the puran poli—it was absolutely fantastic! I’d happily return to Rajdhani just for that. The chaas (buttermilk drink) was another standout; I enjoyed it so much I had five glasses!
The restaurant’s environment was okay and felt clean, which is always a plus. Parking was also convenient and free. The only real letdown was the cleanliness of the restroom, which could definitely use some improvement.
Overall, Rajdhani is a solid choice for Indian vegetarian food, especially if you’re a fan of puran poli and chaas.
Otherwise, dishes do commensurate with a $30.00 per person price tag even though overall quality has diminished.
In addition, we like our table cleared of dirty dishes and napkins before enjoying dessert. However, when the server removed the dirty dishes but left the pile of dirty napkins for a table of four, we asked the manager to please clear the dirty napkins, she just outwardly blew us off. Then we asked the owner to please have the pile removed and she blew us off. When we asked a service provider, he said to just leave it there! :/ No trash cans were visible so we could discard it ourselves.
When we insisted, a sever came with a dirty trash can promptly us to throw it away ourselves. :/
The bathrooms are unsightly with no paper towels and the air drier is right by the door in which whoever opens the door to enter suddenly will bang your hands dangerously so if you don’t quickly remove them.
Finally, the manager lady herds customers like cattle with no curtesy whatsoever! Very disappointing experience.
The ambiance is welcoming with a typical restaurant feel. It gets crowded during weekends, especially at peak hours, but there’s decent seating available, including patio dining. The staff is friendly and attentive, though service may be a bit slow when it’s busy.
This spot is known for its unlimited Gujarati Thali, which includes fresh chaas, dhokla, ghee-coated roti, poori, and a variety of sabjis. The meal ends with a single serving of dessert of your choice. The food is good, and one round of the Thali is quite filling, especially with the roti and potato sabjis making your stomach bloat. However, the price per person is relatively high considering the limited variety offered.
Overall, if you’re in the mood for some vegetarian food and want to experience a Gujarati Thali, this place is worth a visit, though you might find the price a bit steep for what you get.
GREAT FOOTFALLS, THALI AND MINI THALI ARE THE MOST SOLICITED MEALS. BY ONE AND ALL VISITING THIS JOINT, VERY TASTY WITH STARTERS LIKE DHOKLA BHAJIYA, A NICE VEGETABLE, BUTTERMILK, ADAALPADI, WHO IS PHULIKA, ACCOMPANIED BY RICE DAL OR KHICHDI, THE TASTE IS AMAZING. AND IN THALLI, YOU GET UNLIMITED SUPPLY IN MINI, FEEL IT’S THALI, IT’S A ONETIME SERVING WITH DESSERTS FROM A CHOICE OF 5 GULAB JAMUN. YOU HAVE GOT MOON THAL GAAJAR HALWA FALLOUT, THE ICECREAM FROM WHICH YOU CAN TAKE ANY ONE OF THEM VERY WELL MADE TEST IS AUTHENTIC AND IT JUST LEAVES YOU SO FULL.THAT AMAZING IS THE ONLY WORD.
Prices were on the higher side compared to other us places.
JAY s you attitude was superb…all staff experienced and smiling.
Highly recommend just take the plate not the unlimited thali.
The daal is watery (almost a sambhar), rotis are dipped in ghee/oil rather than spreading some on top so they are very soggy.
For the number of items in the thali, the price point & the excess oil I give the food a health rating of 1 out of 5.
Service is good, people are nice 4 out of 5.
Desserts are also nice 3-4 out of 5.
Coming from bay area where buffets are sooo good & truly Unlimited & have thrice the number of items this was a major disappointment.
. It’s a fun, casual spot with a solid 4.1★ average, great for vegans and vegetarians alike.
. A must-visit for authentic Indian comfort food in a lively setting!
