We will definitely be back! They have a kids menu and even have a doggy menu for when the patio is open! I got the buffalo chicken mac n cheese, and it was amazing! Went on a Sunday night and the parking lot and restaurant were packed. Always a good sign. They said it would be a long wait for a table, so we just sat at the bar. Got drinks quick, food quick, service was great and the bartender was very nice. Highly recommend.

I usually order takeout from here but I was in the area and I decided to stop by and get their insane brisket mac & cheese. I also got a pizza and that was delicious as well. I had to stop mid meal to take pictures for this review. Alexis was our server and she was awesome!

The atmosphere was fun and energetic! The food was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! The dad’s fireballs were OMG ( definitely a must try)!!! The wings were top-notch, the chicken quesadilla was phenomenal, the burgers were amazing, and the chicken tenders were fantastic!!! It’s definitely a good place if in town!!

Where do i begin? Their Fireballs are a one of a kind appetizer! Sooo creamy, cheesy, and seasoned perfectly; they are the best cheese balls out there. I had the Yinzer quesadilla, and it was also fantastic. Good job, Dad’s! I will be back.

Dad’s Pub and Grub is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Monroeville, whether I’m grabbing takeout or sitting down for a meal. Their menu has a lot to offer, but the standout for me has always been their hot dogs—especially the truly authentic Chicago Dog. It’s the real deal, complete with every traditional ingredient right down to the sport peppers, and it’s incredibly satisfying every time.
Their sandwiches are also consistently great. I’ve been impressed with their Reuben, burgers, and gyros, even if they tend to be on the messy side—“wet” is definitely the right word. But honestly, I don’t mind it at all; it just adds to the experience. They also do an excellent macaroni and cheese, whether you order it as a side, in one of their mac and cheese bowls, or built right into a sandwich. It’s rich, flavorful, and hits the spot.
The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, and the space can get a bit noisy when it’s busy. Even so, the food is worth it. And their takeout game is exceptional—quick, reliable, and perfectly packaged. I frequently suggest getting takeout from here because it’s delicious, easy, and affordable.
The staff tends to be on the younger side, but they’re always respectful, attentive, and great at what they do. Whether dining in or taking food home, I’ve consistently had positive interactions.
Overall, Dad’s Pub and Grub delivers great food, solid service, and one of the best casual eats experiences in Monroeville. It’s a place I keep coming back to—and for good reason.

Visiting my brother who lives locally and we chose Dad’s for lunch. Surprisingly, my brother had never been to the restaurant.
We sat outside on the patio, it was a beautiful day.
I asked the wonderful waitress for recommendations and she suggested the gyro. Wow! Thank you, absolutely delicious. My brother has the quesadilla and it was so filling and yummy. He couldn’t finish it.

Got two Cesar salads for lunch, the chicken was great. The Parmesan looked like the Parmesan that Pizza Hut gives you. The croutons just weren’t edible at all. I presume they weren’t fresh. The Cesar dressing tasted like creamy Italian— so I added my own croutons and dressing from home. Little disappointed for 30$. And parking was TERRIBLE around 1pm on Friday

I have paid for the cheese sauce and honey mustard (I order both) for my pretzel sticks during my last 10 visits. In those 10 orders, you have given me only one or the other sauce (never both) 10 out of 10 times.
3 times i walked back in to correct you- 7 times I thought, “Theres no way they would forget it again”. But Dad’s has proven itself to be, if nothing else, consistent.
