Food was amazing! It’s a little hole in the wall food place. We stopped for a quick meal and were so incredibly happy with our choice. The pupusa took me back to being in El Salvador. And the chicken bowl, the chicken was so tender! And the rice and beans were so flavorful. Finally the chips and salsa we just couldn’t get enough! The staff was so nice and friendly and very quick in getting our order together as well. This is going on the list to be visited again when we are back! 🙂

We stopped in here with some close friends after attending a show at the Roxy Theater. Cat was our server and she was fantastic. She is funny, professional, and just plain on it. We thoroughly enjoyed interacting with her and she was super attentive. Additionally, all staff were highly professional. This place is well managed, the food is delicious and the portions are great. Note that our three drinks made up half of our ticket but we had a blast at El Balcon so it was worth the cost.

I was impressed from the moment I took my first bite of my Balcon Burrito. I love anything pickled and the curtido was amazing. The music was somewhat loud, but festive and fun. Great, kind service. And although Google makes it sound like it’s only walk-up, there are two picnic tables inside. Yes, it is crammed.

Ahh I love this spot. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, generous portions, and decent prices. Only sorta-negative that comes to mind is the indoor seating can be a little tight if you’re dining in, but this is my favorite place to grab takeout when I’m in town.

SO GOOD. This place is just a hole in the wall, but there food is great. There’s not really any good place to sit. So, don’t go there for the atmosphere. They are relatively fast with the food. It’s certainly authentic. Loved the meal very much. I will be back.
