This was soooo worth the 40 min wait on. Friday night! The menu has so many delicious offerings it was tough to choose. We settled on a bowl of queso for starters, and a few margaritas. Meals were unbelievably HUGE, two of the plates were about 24” oblong! The mix of tastes was perfection and the refried beans had a little kick to them. We would drive again from Rochester JUST to eat here! Was our first time but won’t be our last!

Came here with my sister for our first time. The place was smaller than expected but it was so cozy and almost “home” feeling. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious! Our waiter Ariel was so kind and efficient , he took great care of us. We really enjoyed this place and we will be back!

My wife and I were celebrating an early Cinco De Mayo.
We started by having margaritas. My wife had a jumbo margarita and I had a spicy margarita. Very tasty.
Our appetizer was the chorizo dip, which was chorizo mixed with cheese served with mini tortillas. Very well done.
My wife had the Mexicano and I had the Mar y Tierra Fiesta. The serving size was shareable (more than enough). Both were excellent and we had leftovers to enjoy later.
The restaurant is very cozy and the service was excellent.
We both recommend Don Juan for excellent Mexican cuisine.

Haven’t been in a while and was missing the food. As always, food was amazing. We went shortly after they opened, so there was no wait time for seats and food was out quickly and was hot, fresh and delicious. Mara, our server was amazing, attentive and friendly. Food portions were huge, had some to bring home which is always a bonus! Bean dip is amazing. Definitely need to come more often because I haven’t been let down yet. By far my favorite Mexican food around. Can’t wait to see what they do with the place when the construction is done. Thanks for another great dining experience. 10/10 recommend.

My once a week hangout for a fix for a delicious frozen flavored Margarita and a taste of Mexican Food .. I am never ever disappointed in the food, service or atmosphere .. plenty of parking. The owners are great , they periodically come around to make sure you are well taken care for . The patio area is perfect and set up is nice in the warmer months . Sometimes it our private space since Buffalo folks always say ITS TO HOT anything over 75 degrees and they sit inside for AC . Been to the Cinco de Mayo celebration 2 times and its great , but it gets crowded so plan accordingly for this event .. Don Juan’s is more then 5 stars in my book ..

This place punches above its weight. Excellent food with HUGE portions and good prices. They have the typical bright green house margaritas, but they also have fresh handmade cocktails. The staff are what really make this place, though, so be sure to tip generously.
