For entrees those in my group got the french toast, the halibut, the Salmon BALT, The Majestic breakfast and the harvest salad with hanger steak. The salad was delicious; it had pears and grapes and was perfect for the winter.
Overall Fernando was perfectly attentive, very kind, and made our experience what it was! Had a great time!
Location: Right in Old Town, easy to get to and a nice area to walk around.
Service: Friendly, prompt, and attentive. No complaints there.
Drinks: Just okay for me. They were not weak but also not impressive. They do have unique options like the pumpkin cider brandy which was fun to try.
Food: Appetizers were fine but nothing memorable. We tried the crab Rangoon and the mussels with rolls. Interesting ideas, but something was missing in both. Pork chops were just okay. The burger and fries were the best thing we had.
Overall: Cool spot for drinks and social energy, but the food did not land for me. I probably would not return for dinner, but I could see it being a fun place to grab a drink and meet people.
The waiter and staff were also so pleasant and helpful, and made my dining experience so positive.
Thank you for a wonderful meal!
The low lighting, excellent service at the bar, and gastro quality burger meal all improved my day greatly.
Also surprisingly, a parking space was easy to find on Cameron St, within two blocks on the Majestic.
I will return on my frequent visits to Old Town and the Washington Sailing Marina.
Fernando was my server and he was excellent. Attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel really welcoming, which I appreciate when I’m dining alone.
Great spot in Old Town. I’ll definitely be back.
We started with the Crab Rangoons and the Oxtail Baklava, both of which were incredible. The crab rangoons were so good that we immediately ordered a second round. We also tried the Majestic Parker House Rolls—they looked beautiful, but they weren’t the soft rolls we expected and were a bit harder than we prefer.
For mains, we had the Hanger Steak Frites, Ragù Bolognese, and the Zucchini Pesto & Fusilli. Everything was delicious, but the steak frites stole the show—perfectly tender, seasoned to perfection, and topped with garlic butter that melted in your mouth. Absolute standout dish.
To sip on, we had the Majestic Old Fashioned and a whiskey on the rocks, both well-made and a great complement to the meal.
The restaurant had an intimate ambiance. We chose a cozy booth instead of sitting at the bar, which made it feel even more comfortable. The service was excellent—attentive, warm, and welcoming, especially considering we arrived close to closing time. The bathrooms were also clean, though located downstairs.
Overall, The Majestic has officially made my list of go-to spots for late-night dining with top-tier food, drinks, and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning!
