This is without question the best Mexican restaurant in Redding, CA. They not only provide amazing food, but create an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. My favorite is the fajitas & top shelf margarita (either original on the rocks or blended strawberry, you can’t go wrong). I’ve lived in Redding for over 30 years & this is the place I recommend to family & friends who want some incredible Mexican food.

Good food ,service was ok. It was a bitbon the pricey side for me. Im a steak guy and I ordered the crane asada plate $28 bucks. Rice and beans ,salad and guacamole. It was good but it was not worth $28 bucks. My wife wasn’t impressed either. But to be honest our family that lives here absolutely loves this place. Ok I normally take a picture of all my great steak finds and this wasn’t one, sadly.
Over all for me ,someone that gors to alot of mexican restaurants this one in my opinion was just ok. Now the food is good . The service was ok. We were there on a Monday afternoon and in our section there was only two tables . The service was meh.
There was 4 of us and 2 out of 3 had the lunch special so thay made it better .

It’s a pretty good basic Mexican restaurant food’s amazing but there are some things I found wrong with this place. It wasn’t that busy when we came in but we still had to wait 10 minutes just for our order being taken plus another 10 minutes to get our glass of water, I requested ice water with lemon. We are done and I’ve never seen my lemon. I was supposed to come with my water. Then we ordered a margarita for my wife and they came after our drinks of water. Came almost 5 minutes later The waiter did not seem like too, he really wanted to deal with us and then there was a dog walking around on a leash but going from table to table I was not a service dog. Last I knew that was not allowed in a restaurant I was going to take a picture of the dog but by the time I had my camera out it was already gone. I used to have good service from here but I don’t know what happened. Very mediocre. Hopefully they straighten me up and when I come back to review it’s a lot better But they still have the best fajitas in town.

Your portions of food are much smaller than most places I goto for the same food and price. I get the same dish when I eat Mexican food anywhere. Unfortunately it did not equal the same quality compared to another competitor on how they make it.It was good but not the best. Their service is great, very friendly staff tho. Will have to change to another meal next time we visit. Overall everything else was good.

The go-to spot for a few of us at work to get drinks and snacks after work on occassion. Great vibes, great service and a genuinely warm atmosphere.
If you every want a ‘chill night at the bar’ vibe without the bar culture, take a few friends to Casa Ramos, order a couple drinks with appetizers and enjoy the relaxed energy. Just make sure its the kind of friends who can enjoy a nice conversation and maybe watching a game. It is, after all, a family place.

Well at first glance the outside of the restaurant could use a little clean me up.
We were seated right away there was no waiting time the place was pretty full though. We got chips and dip and our drinks within the first 4 minutes that we were there the service was quite quick.
My iced tea never was empty they kept it full the whole time the same way with the waters. My meal was ready in about 12 minutes and well it was very very good The Cook the waiters the greeter the furniture was very comfortable I just don’t have any complaints for this place it’s definitely a family restaurant oh and the salsas you’ve got to try this sauces they got this mild spicy one mmm good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My experience at Casa Ramos in Redding was nothing short of exceptional! The food and service were truly outstanding, solidifying this as a must-visit spot for anyone craving delicious Mexican food in the area.
The chile verde is exceptional. The pork was incredibly tender and braised to perfection. The vibrant green sauce had a savory flavor with the right amount of spice. This dish is complemented by the flavorful rice and beans served alongside.
The atmosphere at Casa Ramos is warm and inviting. The server was friendly and attentive. The portions are generous.
Casa Ramos is the place to go for authentic Mexican cuisine in Redding, especially if you love amazing chile verde!

Great service. Always seated quickly. It is very clean. There is a full bar here. The food is okay but definitely not authentic. Bathroom is clean.

Cheap tasting unauthentic Mexican food. Portions clearly rationed small. Lack of transparency as my meal was missing several BASIC ingredients.
I PAID extra for guac, I did not receive. When I asked about it, I was told it’s out. Not a place I’d recommend for dine-in, especially given the pricing and expectations.
