In 1995 we opened a little restaurant on Parsons Avenue. We only had one dining room, a small kitchen, and a handful of staff members, most of which were the two of us and our two children! It was scary and exciting at the same time. We had lots of restaurant experience, but still didn’t know if YOU would like our food or us!

I was going to order 2 or 3 lechon pork dinners today and asked for extra juice and he had ck with Mgr. said new policy no xtra juice for pork. Called back sw Mgr said been policy few mos. advised i got the meal 2 wks ago and got xtra mojo juice she sorry no longer do it. I advised pork is so dry you need more juice she said they implemented policy and can’t give any, I said hell of a policy and have heard many people said they won’t go back as food has gone downhill. People go to YBOR GRILLE IN RUSKIN FL very juicy and give you all the juice you want and larger servings!!!!!

Stopped in for lunch today. Neither of us had eaten there in quite a while as we do not live in the area. We both left disappointed. Ordered the Cuban and Chicken Quesadilla at the counter and planned to share. Paid at the counter and added a 20% tip. The only thing the waitress did was bring our food 25 minutes later. We had to help ourselves beverages, utensils and napkins. Both entrees arrived lukewarm, not close to hot, or fresh off the grill. Food was subpar. Nothing good to say or bad to say except the entire experience was a disappointment.

Ordered a Togo family meal- would not recommend. The meat portions are extremely small. The rice and beans size was good but the rice was so salty and the beans were bland. The salad dressing was delicious. We won’t be back unfortunately.

We were there around 5:00 p.m. and most of the patrons were coming for take out service so the restaurant dining area was empty.
For now you order up at the front and the food is brought to your table. We were ask several times if everything was OK.
Expect a friendly greeting when you enter and everyone is treated like a regular patron.
Plenty of parking and easy to find. This was our first visit, but if and when we are back in the area I’ll be sure to stop here again.

This was our first time at La Septima, and the staff was incredibly helpful! They gave us suggestions for dinner and explained what I wasn’t sure what it was. The Yuka was a little too heavy on the garlic, but other than that, we had a great dinner.

We did takeout and The food is amazing, I had the “Walk around La Septima” and all 3 of the meats were 10/10.
