This review is for the event space. We just had our 35th high school reunion at Laux and it was the perfect space for our event. The two bartenders were great making sure everyone was served and our plates were picked up. We had appetizers and everything was fresh, hot and delicious.

Might I say… The mozzarella sticks are the best I’ve EVER had. Literally amazing. I bought more to go. LOL. Everything we ordered was hot and super good. Service from our beautiful waitress was great. Atmosphere nice. 10/10 – will go again!

Nice clean place with excellent service. The food is very good and the ambience is typical of a sports restaurant with a bar in the center. There’s lots of interior seating and a reception hall attached with access to and from the restaurant. There’s ample parking and the exterior appearance is brick (in the name). Try the cheese sticks! They are freshly made and extremely large.

Ordered to go and both orders were wrong. Not sure if they were in a hurry in the kitchen, but when they charge 10% for to go orders, you need to ensure you have the order correct before bagging and giving to customer. Chef salad with romaine instead of iceberg lettuce was ordered, but received all iceberg lettuce. Ordered a wrap with no tomato and there was tomato. Doesn’t seem like a big deal, unless there are good allergies or tolerance issues. Please double check orders. We hadn’t been in a long time, but was wanting to give it a try.

Went for dinner today and there were 3 of us. 2 ordered the ribeye dinner, 1 med well and the other med rare. The med rare was over cooked , the med well was cooked correct. The 3rd order was a baked potato loaded and a side of coleslaw. All 3 baked potatoes were over cooked and brown inside. This was the first time we had unsatisfactory food.

I was craving Onion Rings, all day. When I finally decided to venture out for dinner, I remembered LBG had Appetizers Half Price on Sundays. If I’m going to satisfy a craving, I might as well save some money doing it.
Laux easily has the best Onion Rings in the RIverbend Area. They are HUGE and they are made is house. Best of all, they’re cut thick, hand dipped and fried crispy. I’ve said it before, if you’re there with a group, you’ve got to order these for your table.
For my entree, I wanted to go healthy, so I choose the Shrimp Salad. WOW! It was my first time ordering it and I will be ordering it again and again. The salad was made with Romaine lettuce and had Parmesan Cheese, tomatoes, Bacon and Croutons. It was then topped with 6 large Grilled Shrimp and a House Made Habanero Ranch dressing. This salad was full of flavor and was very filling. The dressing does have a spicy kick to it.
As always, the service was friendly and attentive. Sitting at the bar, the bartender still provided me with the type of service I’d expect at a table. A nice bonus sitting at the bar, they have hooks and outlets underneath. So you can hang your purse or coat and if needed, you can plug in and charge your social media devices.

Good food, good people. This place is always busy, but there’s always a table. I ordered the Brickhouse Double. It was so big I only ate one patty. The Lauxarella sticks are the biggest, best mozzarella sticks you’ll ever have. The mushrooms were nice and crispy. We had a great lunch.

I would have rated the food higher were it not for the lack of accompanying sides. A place said to be known for its fish, it could do with having malt vinegar available. Add to that that you can have any hot sauce you want, so long as you only want either red or green Tabasco. Me, I hate Tabasco.
The fish was tasty with generous portions.
Expect a huge serving of fries to show up.
The person with us who got the Mac & cheese stated that it was the creamiest they have ever gotten at any food service.

We rented the brickhall for a memorial service for my mom, and it was absolutely wonderful. The food and service was top notch, and to have all the set up service and tables ready was such a big relief for me. They provided tables for the memorials, flowers, and most important…the dessert. The buffet was excellent, served right on time. Food was hot, and everyone raved how good it was..thank you again for helping ease the stress on me for this difficult day. I will recommend your business 1000 times over
