Thank you,

As other reviewers have noted, they sneak a 15% gratuity onto your bill and then the payment system immediately asks for an additional tip. My $105ish lunch for four became nearly $150 because I tipped 20% not realizing they had already taken 15%. Very unhappy.
5 star review reduced to 1 for this shady practice. Original review follows.

Best Mexican place in Denver, hands down. Incredible value for very generous portions. Absolutely delicious food. Hot salsa that actually has some heat!
Try the torta cubana. The portion size was phenomenal and the flavors were superb. It was jam-packed with several types of meat, perfectly fried egg, and an absolutely delicious bread. Paired with their hottest salsa, it was incredibly delicious.
Oh, and the aguas were also phenomenal. They came in big mugs, weren’t too sweet and were super smooth and tasty. Plus they have a ton of flavors. We tried the pineapple and strawberry. Both were awesome!
Absolutely loved this place. We’ll be back!
This restaurant consistently serves the best huevos rancheros and Birria we have ever had.
The service is friendly, attentive and very helpful. The portions are large and are of greater value than what you pay.
Love this place and now that I have started thinking about the huevos I am sure I will be there soon!
The downside is the price. For the birria torta and two street tacos, my total was $27 before tip. Those are prices of restaurants with much nicer settings. I don’t mind a hole in the wall, the place is not super nice inside, but the prices are more in line with much nicer restaurants.
So, one star gone for the price, but the food is definitely good!
