“Such a wonderful little stop for a meal. Everything I tried tasted amazing. I got a regular cheese roll, and the portion was just right for me. I’ll happily return for more!”

I visited this location for the 1st time. Previously, I had been to the Kannapolis location. Prices have increased in the past year, as with everything else. Tried the fish sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich, grilled cheese and tater rounds. The sandwiches were tasty. The grilled cheese had 2 pieces of cheese between 2 white breads and the cheese wasn’t melted properly, so that was disappointing. We ordered tater rounds but they mistakenly gave us hush puppies instead, which was fine but not what we ordered.
I ordered the food at the kiosk. The place was busy with lots of online orders and phone orders. I had to wait while all the online/phone orders were getting filled first. My order was ready at the counter, but the lady working there didn’t get to my order until about 10-15 mins after my food was ready. That was bad service. Then, she fidgeted around with a faulty stapler for a minute or two instead of using another working stapler right next to her. SMH.

Breakfast? I have gone to this location for many years and chowed down on the burgers, dogs, fries and O-Rings and didn’t notice they were even open for breakfast.
Now I’m hooked! Order the 2 egg plate and probably get 3 real eggs and I’ve had sausage, bacon, the livermush and today I tried the country ham. All excellent! I’m not even going to state the cost of breakfast because maybe they are not charging me enough. If this kind of cuisine seems unhealthy just drop by and check how many senior citizens are eating there everyday! No bagels and LOX who needs that??

The burgers and lunch and dinner choices are just too good! People start coming in at or before 9 am and order the burgers … puts pressure on cutting breakfast off too early!
If you want a late breakfast meal you will probably need to order a burger here because the local customers want the burgers as early as possible!
Could be they sell out of grits too early!
I’m also addicted to their onion rings!

Place always has a crowd. Food is excellent. Especially the WhatABurger, my favorite. Wife likes the grilled chicken sandwich. Everything is good. Staff are usually pretty friendly.

Milkshake tastes like old chocolate milk. Can’t believe I spent this much money on this food. Just go to the location in downtown concord they try. I dont know if they never clean their machines but it was nasty. My taste buds feel violated. My soul is robbed of joy. I may never heal knowing that THIS is the closest what-a-burger near my house. This is a sad moment. This is soul crushing. This… is tragedy…

You gotta love What-A-Burger. This is a local landmark & tradition. We had the What-A-Cheeseburger & “Crispy” Fries, Sweet Tea & and an Ice Cream Cone. Everything was good. The burger has a unique taste that you can’t find anywhere else. The service was friendly as always. You don’t go to What-A-Burger for the atmospere, you go for the great food and friendly service. If you live here , and you’re one of the rare individuals who haven’t had a What-A-Burger burger &”Crispy” fries, you need to go and experience it

Visited What-A-Burger restaurant when passing by to head to work. This is a quaint little restaurant with southern hospitality. I purchased the What-A-Cheeseburger, crinkle fries, white slaw and a lemonade. The What-A-Cheeseburger was Amazing! It reminded me of Sonic’s burgers. The only difference was their burgers were huge! The fries were hot and fries, you just have to add your own seasonings. The white slaw was really good. I had the choice between the white coleslaw which was mayonnaise-based or the red coleslaw which was vinegar based. The lemonade was heavenly! Just the right amount of lemons and sugar! I really enjoyed my meal. Not, to mention that my entire meal was less than $12. Wow! I will definitely be coming back to this location. I would like to recognize the lovely Hannah and Shawna who were really welcoming, knowledgeable of the menu items and provided excellent service! Thank you! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Hubby and I wanted to try this old fashioned burger joint. I’m so glad we did. Customer Service was great. When I told the person taking our order it was our first visit, she welcomed us with a smile and went over the menu. Every interaction with the staff was nothing short of friendly. The food?? If you like an old fashioned burger and crispy crinkle fries, you won’t go wrong. Burgers were big and juicy. Can’t wait until we are in Concord again. We will definitely be stopping in.
