Deshawna was 10/10 a vibe for sure! My coworker and I came here on A Friday night and were not disappointed. Definitely a vibe and our server made our experience even better! We shared a fried shrimp platter with Brussels sprouts and the creole sauce and it did not disappoint. They have $1 shot specials, line dancing on Fridays at 7:30 and the food was amazing! Will definitely be back for again we had a great time for sure!!!

I used to love this place, but my recent Sunday brunch visit was really disappointing. My friend and I arrived early since it’s usually packed, but surprisingly we were the first customers there. I ordered the honey-buttered biscuit basket and the French toast—two of my favorites—only to be told they were already out of both. On a Sunday morning, with no other guests yet, that was confusing. The explanation was that they had a large party the night before.

While we were waiting, a group came in to set up for a podcast, which felt random, and service immediately seemed to shift toward them. I ordered an espresso martini, and shortly after, a large French toast order came out for the podcast group, despite being told moments earlier that French toast wasn’t available.

After about 20 minutes, I noticed the bartender cutting fruit and realized my drink had been forgotten. I went to the bar to remind her and was given a watered-down espresso martini with sugar dripping down the glass.

Despite all of this, the food we did have was still amazing as always, and parking is free. This used to be such a great spot, so I’m not sure what changed, but they really need to get back to focusing on service, bartending, and having menu items actually available.

The style of this place is great. Beautiful art work and a nice little vibe. The waitress brought us some water and silverware and then walked away. It took us overhearing that the menu was online. We later saw that there would be a private event at 4pm and they would be closed . We got there at 2:50pm. She came around at 3:25pm saying that they would be closed for a private event. There was a total of 3 tables and we were still waiting on our food. The other two tables already had their food. I asked the waiter if we would be rushed to eat because of the event at 4pm. She later came back and said we would be rushed but not really but the event party would be there at 4pm. So I told her to just do our order to go because I don’t wanna be rushed for food that I just got at 4pm. The food we ordered was the seafood plate (1 catfish and 10-12 shrimps) with a side of dirty rice, side of cornbread muffins , and chicken and waffles. I don’t do bad reviews but I feel like if you have a private event then you need to display it before a hour before people can know ahead of time if they want to eat there or get it to go instead of us thinking that we can come and enjoy this new place. My husband said the catfish was good but his shrimp tasted burnt and the dirty rice was good. The chicken was good but the waffle tasted more like a cornbread waffle than a breakfast waffle which was different.

Me and my girls decided to check this place out for ladies night which was a Thursday for love jones/poetry night and the place itself it absolutely adorable. Loved loved loved the atmosphere and food was good and seasoned. Parking and entry are free. Drinks not so strong but we did let the waitress know and she did accommodate the drinks to our liking with a redo and shot on the side. Will def be back for the calm, Comfy, unique vibe feel of the place.

Dined here for poetry night and enjoyed our night. I cannot stop talking about the vegan burger cause it was on my plate one minute and gone the next greedy? Yes but it was so good.

How could a hidden gem have a hidden gem! There’s an entire art studio inside the restaurant where they host sip n paints. So cool! They also feature several local artists throughout the restaurant.

They are hosting an upcoming Women’s Empowerment event on February 15th at 4 PM. Free rsvp.

This is a good place to go for Friday night line dancing. The atmosphere is great, DJ plays great music and the line dance instructor does a great job. Also, the drinks are good from the bar. The food taste great but it can take a long time, around 20 minutes, to get it. The last time we went, it took so long to get our food, over 40 minutes, that we ended up leaving. We never got our dinner.

This place is such a vibe. There MUST be a legit chef in the kitchen because the food was delicious and seemed extra fancy. They gave us warm cornbread for the table. We got fried green tomatoes and Brussels sprouts appetizers which were outstanding. The entrees were wonderful, including THEEE best mac & cheese. The server was delightful. Enjoyed everything about the place. It will likely become my little spot to take out of town visitors when they come.

The food was pretty good.
We had fried green tomatoes 4 of 5
Shrimp n grits 4.5 of 5
Fried catfish 4 of 5
Collards 5 of 5
Great food. Might not be worth the service delays. We got our food after about a half hour or so. No utensils. Then no condiments. No spoon for tea. No spoon for grits. We had to constantly look for our waitress. She was pleasant, but not very efficient.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Blu Rose Art Bistro, and it was a truly enchanting experience. This isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a creative sanctuary that blends delicious food with a vibrant artistic atmosphere. The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by beautiful works of art, which gives the space a unique and inspiring energy.

The menu is as thoughtfully curated as the art on the walls. The service was phenomenal and the waitress/bartender Shae was so attentive and helpful. I’d recommend this spot for any occasion. I thoroughly enjoyed my family birthday dinner at Blu Rose.
