We came here for a weekday dinner, and we had good experiences dining here. The fish liver appetizer is nice. The chicken skewer and grilled fish are also both nice, but the grilled fish skin was a bit too burnt for me. The deluxe sushi plate is very good except the uni is very smelling & almost disgusting on this particular day. We may come back to give it another try & see if it’s a one-off issue vs a persistent one. Besides uni, all other items are delicious and authentic.

This is one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants we have ever been to! Wonderful and attentive service, and terrific food! They have menu items that we can’t find anywhere else. The sushi is incredibly fresh and delicious. All our food tastes great and was very authentic! We have been here several times and have gotten many new to us items that we will definitely get again! It’s a great place to go if you are looking to try something new and unique that you haven’t tried before.

Tachibana has a very extensive menu – lots of great appetizers, hot entrees, and desserts. I love their udon! However, the fish they use in their sushi really is lacking in quality. I’ve ordered nigiri from them each time I’ve visited – about three times in total, different fishes each time (salmon, yellowtail, tuna). It is ALWAYS fishy. I know high quality fish and they just don’t deliver. Go for their apps and udon, but if you’re looking for traditional nigiri, this just isn’t the place.

This place was highly recommended so gave it a try for dinner. I had the chirashi bowl and teriyaki chicken. The chirashi bowl was underwhelming and quality (rice and fish) wasn’t quite as good as my usual place. Having been to a fair amount of Japanese owned restaurants, this was disappointing. Surprisingly the teriyaki chicken was good because it came out soft, not hard and dry in most places. Overall not a terrible experience but don’t really have a desire to visit again, maybe if I’m in the area.

Place was ok. Look like old place been there so long time. Sushi and foods were ok. I would give 7/10. I don’t like salad too sour compared another place. The price a little pricey compared another place. Service was ok 7/10. But I still tips 20%. I didn’t like the way how they put Sashimi on white plate. Never see another place do like this before. All of these $160. No ordered drink

Black cod is so good.
Tonkatsu ramen tastes like instant noodle. It tastes just like “出前一丁”. I bet they put 2 packs.

We’ve dined here many times over the years, and their sushi has always been the best in the area—fresh and high quality. We’ve continued coming back because of the consistently excellent fish. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case during our recent visit. The fish did not seem fresh; the color was off and there was a slight odor. The restaurant also wasn’t as busy, which may have contributed to the drop in quality.

We’ll give it one more try, but not anytime soon.

Just love Tachibana. The reception is pleasant and very much what you’d expect. The food is simply the best Japanese I have had, outside of Japan. It is kid friendly and family oriented but also a perfect date night option. It is popular, and every time I’ve been there, it is a 15 to 20 minute wait. But don’t be discouraged, put your name on the list and just relax, it is worth the time.

Returned for another dinner and added extra photos. Again, the service was excellent and we tried the ramen, which was very good. The box meal was larger than we expected.

5/5!

I had an excellent experience here at Tachibana. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was very good! The restaurant is located upstairs in a small building, and there is a decent amount of parking space as well. The restaurant is decorated nicely and gives a very authentic feel.

The Food: The food was delicious here! My friends and I ordered a couple of appetizers and sushi, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. For the table, we had the Croquette and Pork Gyoza. Both appetizers were delicious. Especially the Gyoza, the meat ratio was good and the flavor of the filling was very authentic. For sushi, I went with the Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon, Hamanegi (Yellowtail) Roll and the Smoked Salmon Roll. All four rolls were delicious! The quality of the fish was excellent, and each bite was incredibly buttery and soft. The sear on the salmon had a very nice flavor to it as well.

The Service: The service was very good. The host and staff were very kind and attentive. Water refills were on point! Which is a huge thing.

The Atmosphere: The restaurant itself was nice! The decor had a very authentic Japanese feel and was clean. There was plenty of space for seating as well.

Overall, a 5/5! This is definitely one of my top sushi restaurants in the area. I’d highly give this a recommendation if you’re looking for some quality sushi.
