Hidden Gem Inside McMenamins Anderson School!
The Woodshop is such a fun, cozy spot tucked inside the McMenamins Anderson School complex. It’s got that classic McMenamins charm—quirky decor, warm wood interiors, and a relaxed vibe. Great place to grab a drink, shoot some pool, or just hang out with friends.
I tried their 1983 beer while I was here (brewed just 50 feet away!) and it was excellent—smooth, flavorful, and perfectly fresh. The whole Anderson School area is beautiful, with several small pubs, outdoor seating, and even a fantastic whiskey bar called The Shed. Highly recommend exploring the whole property if you come by.
If you’re in Bothell, this is an absolute must-visit for a laid-back evening.

Experience was good.
Although one of our dishes was a top dollar salad. $20 plus. It came out missing all toppings and dressing.
Topping were then brought in one at a time. Yet still missing some.
I feel this salad should of been comped or taken of the ticket or lowered in cost to a plate full of lettuce. Yet no offer was even made. Id hope in the future that service could be a little more observant and work with guest to have a better experience not just make excuses based on kitchen mistakes or because what was ordered wasnt observed when delivering the food.

We came here late afternoon for an early dinner and drinks. It wasn’t too busy but was starting to pick up by the time we left. We had a nice time, and it has a nice ambience. We each had a burger with Cajun tots, and they were both delicious. It’s a very spacious place with pool tables and other games. We’ve been here on other occasions, and it gets busy at night, but it was nice to be there when it wasn’t too crowded, but it’s also nice that it gets busy and has a fun atmosphere

The ambience is wonderful, the staff is friendly and helpful, the food was good…but our 4-person group had to wait over 30 minutes to get our food!
This resulted in one of my friend’s food arriving cold. She rarely complains, but this time she did because her omelette was cold. Thankfully, they prepared a new omelette for her.

The food almost always hits the spot. Cajun Tots are excellent and the ranch is yummy. Love the pool tables,pinball, and atmosphere in general. Service can be a hit or miss but tonight was excellent

We went here for the 9th annual winter brew fest at Anderson Hall. The food here at the Woodshop is our go to outside of the festival fare. Their jalapeño Pepperoni pizza was very good and as ever, the beers were excellent.

Long-time McMenamins patron since the late 80s and have visited every location at least once. Never once have I been ignored after being seated – until this place. Had an infinitely superior experience up in Mill Creek, so will just go there instead.

We had a decent experience here. The servers were friendly and attentive and it was pretty quiet so we didn’t have to wait long for food. The food was good, tasted fresh and nice and hot. Fries were Crispy and the chicken in my grilled chicken sandwich was great! We sat at one of the tables by the pool tables, which could use some more space because all night we were having to tell the people we were with to duck or watch their heads from being bonked by the pool cues.

Quality pub with good beer and above average bar food. I’ve been here several times with friends. I recommend it for a casual setting. They have shuffle board and pool tables.
