Very cute Japanese restaurant!
The food was excellent, and it felt truly authentic.
I’m always on the lookout for great Gyoza and the starter here didn’t disappoint, very tasty.
I had Steak, which was cooked just like you expect in Japan.
My partner had Katsudon, which was also amazing!
We will definitely be returning.

We finished shopping in Marylebone and came across this Japanese restaurant. It’s a small place, but the menu is large and varied, offering all kinds of Japanese dishes. We went for the classics — udon and ramen — both really authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. The staff and chef are Japanese and provide great service. Highly recommend!

Really disappointed with our experience here.
We ordered the £118 hot pot set labelled “for 2”, which very clearly looks like £118 for two people in total. The single-person options are marked “p.p.”, so naturally we understood “for 2” to mean a set for two. Only when the bill arrived did we realise we were being charged £118 per person.
What made this worse is that no one explained this when we ordered. There was plenty of opportunity to clarify, especially given how easy it is to misunderstand. Had we known it was per person, we absolutely would not have ordered it.
It honestly feels misleading. At this price point, transparency is the bare minimum. Instead, we were left shocked at checkout.
If you’re planning to dine here, double-check every price before ordering.

I see why they’re a Michelin star restaurant! The delicious food, the calm atmosphere, the helpful workers. It’s all deserved. I’m definitely coming back here!
My friends and I ordered the British Beef Hot Pot for £40 Per person and it was so tasty! It had vegetables , vermicelli noodles and tofu with it and let me tell you – WE FINISHED IT ALL! We were full but it wasn’t that uncomfortable full (ironic). Even though there were noodles inside the hotpot, it also came with a bowl of rice each.
The service was nice, the women were more attentive and went into full detail with their answers to our questions. The man who served us was also helpful, I think he was just really busy and had to rush around which I understand
I recommend booking for this place as it’s known.
In the end the food is really tasty! 5/5 ⭐️

Like stepping into an izakaya / cozy Japanese restaurant right in Tokyo. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. I ordered the tuna tataki and salmon teriyaki don. Was served a delicious bowl of miso soup with seaweed and tofu to start. Was perfect and very umami. The tuna tatami was the best I’ve ever had and very generous portion. The salmon was very traditional and absolutely delicious over the perfectly cooked sushi rice. I enjoyed Asahi with the meal and can’t wait to come back soon and enjoy the large selection of saki on offer.

Decent Japanese at reasonable prices. The chefs are Japanese, so the sushi is proper sushi rice and not too densely packed. The tempura udon was really good.

Great Japanese dining experience! Sushi was excellent and atmosphere was great. Portions were generous, especially the Ramen. Staff was very friendly. A great place to go with friends or for a celebration!
