I had a craving for a good Shepard’s Pie on our way back home to Albany and with a quick Google search, we came across Maguire’s. They called it cottage pie (since it’s made with beef),but it was just as good! I had a side of steamed cabbage as well which was delicious. Definitely recommend Maguire’s to any and everyone!

Magiure’s was a very pleasant place to catch a meal with our son and grandson in Senoia. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, giving us plenty of time to make our meal choices,as well as drinks. Our meals were really good and the Irish setting was a nice touch. I would recommend Maguire’s for a good meal and drinks.

Fantastic Irish pub fare in Walking Dead country. Food was delicious (especially the French onion soup and fish & chips). Wash it down with a perfectly poured pint of Guinness. *Food pictures are not of the initial presentation. Family started eating before I had a chance to snap a photo

Excellent food and atmosphere! You have to try the Bacon Bourbon Chicken and the Donut Burger! Our server was great! Save room for the Bread Pudding! Definitely worth trying while visiting the Senoia area! We will be back!

We always love to try new restaurants and make a review the second time around. Well it was consistent..meaning it was GREAT the 2 times we’ve been there. Great atmosphere, spot on service, and the food was excellent ! We started today with the soft pretzels with Cheese and hot mustard. My husband got the Corned Beef and cabbage .Cooked perfectly and awesome flavor.I ate the Reuben Sandwich, which they used the fresh corned beef on it, with coleslaw. Excellent! And finally.. the warm brownie sundae ..that’s big enough for 3 people ! Yummy! This is a restaurant we definitely will continue to eat at again .Kudos to the team!

I am a member of a group that enjoys weekly gatherings. We explore various restaurants in our area. Last night, we dined at Maguires. We all thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, and what truly made the experience exceptional was Sam, our wonderful server.

My family and I recently visited Maguire’s in Senoia, GA, and unfortunately experienced something that needs to be addressed by management.

During our meal, my 4-year-old daughter ordered French onion soup. She was perfectly fine before eating, but shortly afterward became suddenly ill and projectile vomited at the table. While most of it was caught in a bag, some ended up on the floor. I immediately took my daughter outside to clean her up and calm her down.

While I was gone, my wife — who is 7 months pregnant and currently dealing with significant back pain — was instructed to clean the mess herself. A manager directed our waitress to tell her to do this, and did so within earshot of my wife as if she were not standing there. She was given only towels and was expected to get down on her hands and knees in front of a packed restaurant to clean the floor herself.

Having worked in customer service, I understand accidents happen and restaurants have established procedures and sanitation protocols for situations like this. Staff are typically trained to handle bodily fluid cleanup for both safety and dignity reasons. My wife was not offered proper cleaning equipment, assistance, or even basic consideration — despite being visibly pregnant.

To make matters worse, as she finished cleaning, the same manager again spoke within earshot asking staff to get my wife to bag up the towels, further adding to an already humiliating situation.

I want to be clear: our waitress herself was excellent. Her service was attentive, kind, and professional, and this review is not a reflection on her effort. The issue lies entirely with management’s handling of the situation.

This could have been handled with compassion, professionalism, and basic hospitality. Instead, it left our family embarrassed and deeply disappointed.

I strongly encourage Maguire’s leadership to review their policies, training, and expectations for management staff. Situations involving sick children should be met with empathy and proper procedure, not embarrassment for the guests involved.

This experience was genuinely shocking and, frankly, unexplainable.

Always a perfect spot! Maguire’s is my family’s favorite restaurant, for good reason. The service and food are always perfect, and my oldest boy in particular always asks is we can go to “the underground restaurant.”

Tonight, my boys were overtired and in rare form. The oldest was on the verge of a meltdown over a stolen gumball, and the staff felt bad for him and gave him a cookie. He immediately perked up, and said this is his FAVORITE place. He’s always loved it here, but the cookie was the icing on the cake. His younger brother (the gumball thief) ran from our
table to the checkerboard while the adults were eating. I dragged him back to the table, and didn’t realize he’d lost a shoe until a sweet staff member brought it back to us.

Every time we visit, it truly feels like visiting family. We do our best to make sure our kids aren’t being obnoxious, but the understanding and empathy we get when the kids are a little “off” is part of what keeps us coming back.

On top of all that, my very particular and very British father-in-law loves the food, and is consistently pleased with Maguire’s. If you’re looking for authenticity, his approval is the gold standard. I’m as American as it gets, and I love the food, too. My SIL is vegan, and can always find something suitable to eat, too. There’s truly something for everyone, and the vibes are spot-on for a true Irish pub.

I absolutely loved the establishment and decided to come in for their St. Patrick’s day celebrations! I’m so glad we did. My friend and I both ordered the Guinness Lamb Stew, and I kid you not I teared up. Of course, everyone who knows me knows I’m sensitive anyway, but the dish was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. It was a hearty stew with rosemary and thyme, and crisp rolls with rosemary as well. It tastes like early summer, home, comfort, and love. Ryan, our server, was so kind and authentic, as was the rest of the staff. Ryan told us that the owner makes nearly everything fresh in house, and that was reflected in the taste of the food. Thank you for the memories!
