Went on Friday. Had the fish and chips. They were huge and very very good.
Mackenzie my server was phenomenal and courteous.
I hadn’t been here since before my father passed away in 2009.
The fish dinner was awesome then and still is to this very day (January 23rd 2026).
Very cool atmosphere and got a table right away. But please call ahead here as I have seen lines at the door for seating.

Vibes are great here!
I came for the first time this past summer, and the place is very accessibility-friendly. I was able to come in with a blind family member as well as my service dog, and the server even brought him a bowl of water without us asking — a small gesture that’s very thoughtful, and she was super friendly!
The food is good and reasonably priced. We came in for the BOGO wings and the chicken fingers, both solid choices.
The building itself is huge!Heads up though, washrooms are on the second floor and are not fully accessible as the stalls are small.
But, the area is clean and well kept, the women’s washroom even has a cute little sitting-room-style area —great for taking selfies and there’s a fun car out front as well.
Overall, a really enjoyable spot. I’ll definitely be coming here again with the family.

What a neat little bar. Regan is a very good waitress. The chicken pot pie is outstanding. The service is excellent. The Irish coffee is very good. This is a nice little cozy Irish bar.

First time here and loved it. Very pub like, which is exactly what it is. Portion size of halibut and chips is crazy, enough for two. Excellent service. Will definitely go back!

ordered online. received the meal, which was the buffalo chicken wrap, that was fine or so i hope. got the side of kettle chips with their sauce, but had the surprise of fruit flies in the sauce when i opened it. absolutely disgusting and definitely ruined my appetite.

Made the pilgrimage from Chatham to come to the Kildare house for my wife’s birthday.
We got the appetizer trio, and both got the halibut and chips.
The apps were very good but I can’t emphasize how big the serving of fish was!
Look at those pictures! The fries are under the fish and are fantastic in their own right.
I would highly highly highly recommend you choose the Kildare house for your next fish and chips hankering!

I love this place! Their menu is great! I’ve never been disappointed with my order. Lobster Mac has Real lobster and the portion was so big that it could’ve been shared with 3 people.
Recently ordered takeout and got their award winning Halibut Fish and Chips. I got this on a Friday Special for a discounted price of $20. Included was fries, coleslaw, and tartar sauce. I was also able to add beer to my takeout order.
