I should have taken more photos but the ice cream is so good that I could not wait for a photo. Started with a 5 flavor sampler, then turned right back around and got another scoop because it was that good! Yes to the pineapple cake and nene tracks!

I got Nēnē tracks and loved it! Lapperts ice cream is high quality and deliciously smooth: worth every dollar. I loved the variety of flavors, both classic and unique. If I lived in the area, I would go much more often! The location itself is perfect and not too busy.

If you are going to close early it is no longer acceptable to just stick a note on your door! It is so easy to mark hours in google to inform your guests before they make the drive over. Drove over tonight and got there at 8:10 to find a note saying closing at 8 due to short staff. Nice to see three employees inside! Went to the Gelato place and there was one employee going strong. Short staff is understandable but at least do your customers a solid by updating your hours to temporarily closing early!

Plenty of unique island flavors to choose from. Favorites were the Pineapple Upside down cake, Toffe Crunch, and Ne Ne Tracks.
We arrived around 4 pm on a Friday and there was no wait. On various other days we skipped stopping by because the wait was out the door and not moving. This was anytime after 5 pm weekdays or weekends.
Seating outside is more than what’s available inside. Overall, the flavors are great and service was quick and nice.

There is a nice variety of ice cream flavors although not the variety of sherbet from years ago. The coffee is good. There is ample outdoor seating close by. A pleasant place for us locals to observe the tourists.

Yummm! Lappert’s is a local Kaua’i favorite and the ice cream is delicious. I got to chat with the chef and you can tell he pours love into creating really unique flavors.
They’ve got multiple dairy free options that are surprisingly creamy and so good! Definitely stop here for a scoop or two when you’re on island
