Every Single Time We order Doordash from this Luby’s they substitute something we didn’t ask for or completely leave things off our order. I have never once received a correct order from this place. Apparently, they don’t care either. Their rating on Google is just as bad as the one on Doordash. The reviews are OVERWHELMINGLY telling management that their staff is not completing orders correctly and they do nothing about it. The missing items, missing gravy, missing tartar sauce, and random substitutions that people didn’t ask for have been an issue in reviews going back to 2021. Five years?! Five years of customers complaining about the same things and nothing has been done. When this place shuts down, the owners will probably still be confused as to what they did wrong. Do better! Every other restaurant on Doordash has no problem contacting their customers for a replacement if something is out of stock, so why can’t you? Why are so many people missing items from their orders with no explanation or refund? It seems scammy to me. I was missing my fruit cup today and it clearly shows I paid for it in my Doordash order history and it was not refunded, yet Luby’s took it off the ticket attached to my order when it was delivered. Did they think I wouldn’t notice? I wonder about this… Since its not the first time it’s happened. I’d like an explanation from the owners. Publicly.

Was out driving my mom around town running errands. We stoped at this luby’s for a late lunch. The food was fresh and displayed nicely. The service was top notch. Wonderful experience with mom. Thank you to the staff for being extra nice to my mom.

We were visiting a family member at the hospital, so we walked across the street to Luby’s for lunch. It’s been a while since I’ve visited any of these, but I knew they would have a large selection to choose from. I had the turkey leg with gravy, and Sherry Ann had the salmon. I also had some fried chicken, and I know that’s a lot of food, but I was pretty hungry. I got the beans and cabbage as my sides, along with a jalapeno corn bread muffin and a pistachio pudding. The chicken was by far the best thing. I’m so glad I decided to go big and add this to my meal. The turkey leg was a bit cold, and I’m sure they would have warmed it up for me, but I was too hungry to care. I ate everything I had ordered. Sherry said her salmon was dry and ate half of it, I ate the rest and it was a bit overcooked but that’s only because when I cook this at home I cook it to medium, or medium well. If it was on a salad or with sauce, it would have been fine. I know that this kind of place is trying to make sure that all the food is cooked completely through, so it’s not a surprise to me. I thought all the food was great, the service was spot on, and I would go back to this location again. The choices all looked great from the line, I could have gone so many different ways with my food choices, and that’s why I decided to leave a review. That fried chicken though, was great, and I’m a fan of good fried chicken.

We ordered a deep fried turkey, gravy, and mashed potatoes for a take out meal for Thanksgiving at home. It was moist, delicious, and so easy. Thank you so much Luby’s for making our Thanksgiving dinner wonderful and memorable!!

Out of all the Lubys Kingwood Conroe everywhere The Luby’s in Baytown is the greatest. The new management is awesome.the newest manager over the top I drove all the way to from Cleveland, Texas to Baytown, Texas to eat at that Luby’s. You want the best chicken mushroom Madera and the best people Isabel a server is so awesome so sweet and so kind she’s been there forever she’s God sent The new manager or should I say district manager has turned it around the food is so awesome. He’s great. The employees are great. I go all the way from Cleveland. My sister comes from Kemah and another one will come from Beaumont just to go eat at the Baytown movies. Great teamwork there.

Vegetable choice was limited, and food appearance wasn’t inviting. Fried zucchini was salty, and back-eye peas were poorly cooked. Location is older and could use updated decor.

The staff is friendly. However, I stopped by the day before to ask if they would serve turkey or ham the next day. The attending staff asked their manager and he said they would. So I took my family the next day only to be told they didn’t have turkey or ham. We stayed to eat anyways, only to be disappointed. The fried catfish was cold and the bread wasn’t that great.

We had such a wonderful experience at Luby’s Baytown location. The food was delicious and the service was attentive without being overbearing. What really made our visit special was their private dining room- it was the perfect space for our gathering. The staff went above and beyond especially Ralph, Natalie, and Brianna to make sure everything was seamless. Thank you for everything!
