The place is always dirty. I thought it would be cleaner in the morning but I was wrong. It’s only slightly better. You can always count on at least one fly to be buzzing around. There’s always a mess behind the counter.
While it’s amazing they still have their jungle gym, I wouldn’t trust it at all to be properly cleaned. I try to avoid going to this one.
I’m pretty sure their large cups aren’t actually large. I compared theirs to one from the Wood River location and shocker. Wood Rivers Large was larger than theirs.

Yall dont even deserve 1 star! Food was cold and how hard is it to read a monitor and make sure all the items are placed in the bag. Half my order was missing. The simplest job out there and yall still seem to mess it up every single time. Let me stick to fast food chains in Collinsville.

Fries were cold, burgers were hot, they definitely gave me old fries, didn’t get any of the sauce I paid for. I rarely ever go to or order from this location but when I do it’s always terrible. Im spending $50 Everytime I order so I expect all of my food to be hot, even warm would have been nice tbh.

The only reason I come back is because of her service! She needs a raise or something she runs around here and keeps a cool head while doing it! She also leads her team very well!!

2 medium fries a lemonade and chicken sandwich took 30 minutes to make standing inside watching all other orders get handed out. Another encounter between a manager staff and customer the customer ordered wrong offered to pay the price difference and the manager came from the back “what are you saying I messed up” very rudely. Someone needs to turn the staff and management every way but loose at this location.

The fries were the saltines things I’ve ever tasted it’s like the person before me ordered extra salt and I got the backwash of fries with it. Went thru drive thru on 10/23/25 at approx 4:20. Went thru drive thru & u have the worst order taker that I have ever encountered! Sat through 2 cars before she ever came on & all she said is this mobile something I said no she said order when ready & I did & 1 min later shes asking me to repeat my order! She was very rude & when I was done with order she didnt tell me how much it was, just go around! Will never go back to this McDonalds again! So high priced & thats the service u get, I’ll go to a nice sit down restaurant & hopefully get good service or that someone actually likes their job!

I don’t even want to give this place 1 star. The food was bad and cold. All thrown together and the pattie was so small. I will not be going back. The place was dirty too. Come on Mcdonalds do better!!! The lady that took my order was nice but the people working were dirty. I shouldn’t have even ate there. Prices are way too high for what you get. DONT GO HERE!!!

Not really sure why I even attempted to come give this place another try. I wrote a review previously, got some stupid automated response with a link to write my review to them directly- I then received some poor attempt for them to pass the buck over to the McDonald’s manager and never heard back. Go figure. This place is horrible. Avoid this location at all costs. Truly. They need to fire the entire staff, clean it, and then try again.

Couldn’t even order. Waited at the drive through for a bit and no answer. Thought maybe one of the speakers wasn’t working tried the other one. NOPE they just weren’t answering so we left. Pontoon beach location didn’t ever used to be this bad.
