I stopped by on a Wednesday night and found the service to be incredibly fast, which is a huge plus. For about $20, you get a solid three-taco meal. The portions were a bit smaller than expected, but the meat was well-seasoned and the sauces had a nice kick—it was actually a bit spicier than I anticipated. I wasn’t a fan of the pickled onions, but they have a really impressive selection at the condiment line, which I appreciated.
The vibe of the place is essentially a “scaled-up” street taco spot. It’s much larger than I expected, though it definitely has that grimy, darkly lit aesthetic. It’s not a polished or bright venue, but that fits the street-style theme they are going for. With all that space and plenty of seating, it works well for a quick sit-down lunch or a reliable takeout option.
The menu has a great variety, and while these tacos might not be the absolute best I’ve ever had, they are a decent choice. This area is so heavy on the barbecue scene that it can be hard for a taco joint to really stand out, but the speed of the service here makes it a winner for a quick meal. If you like an authentic, gritty atmosphere and need your food fast, this place should meet your taco craving.

Stopped in here for lunch from Nebraska. Raphael took awesome care of us! Explained their menu and gave us recommendations for the bar. He was the only one taking orders AND working the bar. Super friendly and a hard worker! Will come back on our next trip! Everyone stop in and give Raphael some love, and compliment him on his mustache

La Nueva Taqueria is my favorite authentic restaurant for Mexican food (Ala Jalisco, Mexico. It’s self-service meaning you order at the counter, and they call your number when your food is ready to go to the counter for pick up. The food is wonderful, and there are plenty of alternate protein choices that are distinctly Mexican (lengua, cachete, tripa, and suadera. They have a full service bar! They have a very nice fixings bar; they have tacos, burritos, tortas,, quesadillas and nacho plates. I’m gluten-free and I’ve not had any problems consuming their nachos, tacos, or quesa birria tacos. They are also friendly towards gringas, like myself– they will call your ticket number in both Spanish and English. The only things keeping this place away from 5 stars are the following: The windows are FILTHY– you can’t see it so much from the outside because there is reflective film, but from the inside they are cloudy and dirty. I’ve been coming here for 2 years, and in all this time, the windows have never been cleaned. Things are dusty in the dining area–like the light fixtures, and everything up high. The furniture is super old, scratched and very tired looking. Lastly, the bathrooms are kind of disgusting. The stalls themselves are not too bad, but the sink area is pretty bad. With as much money as this place is bringing in, and them ALWAYS being busy, I think the owners should invest in these bad items to have the atmosphere and cleanliness match the tastiness of the food.

Great food here! This is a unique restaurant that offers services like a taco truck and doesn’t really offer customer/staff interaction. Basically just order your food eat and/or go. Also they need to fix their audio for the music they provide.

Great tacos highly recommend if you like a variety of tasty street tacos. The grilled onion and jalapeno with each plate is a nice addition and adds some extra flair to those tacos in addition to what is available at the taco bar. We love this place for lunch or dinner and always enjoy the Taco Tuesday special!

We found La Nueva in September of 2023 and immediately fell in love. The friendly and welcoming staff make you feel right at home, and they work hard to keep the place clean and stocked. We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Vicente, Raul, and Rafael, along with all of the other members of their team. They are always kind and quick with a joke, willing to share a laugh and chat about life. We are greeted with a smile at every visit.
The food is EXCELLENT. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are always on point. Our favorite part is the topping/salsa bar. Their salsas are made in-house and are consistently great. They provide toppings like cilantro, onion(s), lime wedges, etc., which are restocked and refilled daily.
The menu is based around all the best parts of Mexican street food. While there may be occasional changes to their offerings, the core idea remains the same – to provide delicious and familiar favorites, with something for every member of the family.
Stop in sometime and try it for yourself – you won’t regret it!

The food was amazing, the chef really loves what he does. I would recommend it to anyone who really has a taste for Hispanic. The service was good as well, my guy in the turquoise shirt was very friendly and inviting, the woman I can’t say the same for. She could work on her attitude and crack a smile at he customers. The tacos here were probably the best I’ve had, even beating out the ones I got in Texas.
The variety is awesome and the whole vibe of the place is perfect.
I like how the seating is nice and spacious and the sauces are on your table.
I definitely would recommend going if you’re craving tacos, especially on Tuesday.
